10 years ago? Gaming on a PC via Steam wasn't even as popular as gaming is now 10 years ago. That's a huge exaggeration. Developers are making Mac clients more than ever now, and the adoption rate of a Mac is rising. It's certainly not as large as Windows but it's certainly no Linux.
This is a trend that's been becoming more popular year over year. 5 years ago the things being revealed this week would have been the show stoppers. Now they're the footnotes on REAL reveals for games with zero teasing or knowledge before hand.

These increased HDD sizes are for the casual market. Anyone who cares enough about size already knows you can switch out the HDD, or has already done it.
This is for the gamer bros who don't know how to hold a screwdriver and would rather spend another 400 bucks than learning how.

We all know that Sony originally lost money on the Cell, but if you think at this point they're still losing money on the PS3 and the Plus memberships being sold, you're dead wrong. They've recouped that money, and certainly aren't using the PS4 to "make up for lost cash last generation' as we see some of the most promising and intuitive games yet to come, but we know they're there.

I just played on my buddies rig last night for a few hours. Same area I'm in. We had everything on ultra, and I know I'll get disagrees for this, but was hard pressed to tell a difference.
The tiniest bit of higher texture quality. Vide distance seemed to be the same. Weather effects and wind seemed to be the same.
I'm just glad the consoles got to experience this, but unfortunately the PC version doesn't pack that graphical punch like it sh...
This game in and of itself is fine. Games have launched with less content. It's the price tag that is alarming. If this game sells well at it's current price/content, we're setting yet another nasty precedent for gaming.
My personal advice? Wait until the game has enough content to warrant the high price, or wait for it to hit a cheaper price point in general. Nintendo is known to launch games with tons of replay value and content, and I don't want this to be ...
I think people are underestimating Sony right now. Microsoft showed WAY too many cards last year, especially on Phantom Dust and Quantum Break. Games that are in delay hell or no where to be heard from.
Sony, aside from one or two titles repeatedly for the past several years, really only shows and talks about games that are in deep development and are a year or two away.
I think they have enough brand power alone, especially with their record sales on the PS...

@logicalreason, the devs themselves said there's no higher ground for the game. There is no story or reasoning behind it. They want you, the player to come to with why he's doing what he's doing. Why he's so angry. So whether he was just assuming or not, he's right.

I find it funny how most "reviewers" these days bash the games that aren't popular or hyped, but give the ones that are,almost perfect scores. Missing content? And that's the point the above poster was trying to make. It COULD play GC games but they chose not to for whatever reason. Quick and obvious answer is for potential remakes and digital rereleases, but in reality, that shouldn't matter.
I knew they'd start the BS claims soon, and sure enough, they did.
They can say anything they want, but lets say this is true, if the game comes out as buggy as past Bethesda games, then clearly they didn't play it long enough.
I love Bethesda and their games, but sometimes I wish they'd tone things back in favor of a more polished game.
Lets hope QA has played twice this amount.
