halo and gears is not worth a console purchase....they will get old in a month or so after release and that's that.

you mean promote them at all. I hardly saw any advertisements for the ps3 or it's games, minus the few kevin butler commercials.

It seems most of them don't appreciate good games and that's why they missed out on the ps3. So all of a sudden ps4 has amazing hardware and they're trying to climb back in, nope!

If I was a hard core pc gamer, I'd have no interest in owning a 360....kind of a waste of money buying two of the same game...
Karkland, Aftermath, End Game, and Armored Kill were definitely good add ons. You easily get your moneys worth out of those and are probably better than 90% of any other post game update that anyone can think of.
BF already blew the doors off CoD, the DLC did the same...
I was a Nintendo fan until N64/PS1 came along, then I jumped shipped and never looked back.
I never liked any of the gimmicky controllers, including 64 and this is the reason why I never played some of the game that looked interesting.
I'm just waiting for a huge price drop or deal for a Wii U so I can play those classics on the pro controller...
I don't want a secondary touch screen or a stylus or a non wireless nunchuck.

For whatever reason I'm not hyped...at all about this game.
I haven't bothered to look at the single player gameplay, but the online doesn't do anything for me. Just like the Uncharted series and how they added online.
For me, it's all about the single player, but this online focus is just taking me away from the game in general.
ps3 had a bad launch, look how that turned out....
the playstation brand will always be fine as long as they continue to support 3rd party developers.

I will be keeping my ps3 and all of it's psn+ downloads, along with the XMB.
And right next to it will be the ps4.
XMB was simple, there were no bs extras, nothing hard to find, etc...
I hate windows 8, I'm hoping I don't dislike the ps4 UI because it looks similar.
playing on my friends 360, which is once in a blue moon, I find myself repositioning my thumb on the left analog especially after running. And the response time to aim and fire is a lot slower than compared to ps3.
PS3 controllers/players have a lot quicker reaction times and don't have to worry about the delay of the trigger button like 360 players do.
It doesn't fit my hand like a glove as you think it does.
