It's better for Nintendo to leave the storage up to the individual consumer than forcing an HDD with every console. Leave it open to any external storage medium and let gamers spend money on the size they want. Not everyone is gonna need 320GB, and some might want 1TB. Options is the key, and it takes a load off of Nintendo's mind when building the console.

Throw in 4-8GB of built-in flash memory for save files and channels/apps, and I won't be complaining.

The boss that chases you in Croc = The most terrifying moment of my life pre-2000. Wonder if that game works on my current PC...

The limited edition includes a gold Wiimote Plus, but then again it sells at almost twice the price point of the standard edition.

While I don't like how Mario games has seen an almost annual release frequency this gen there is no denying the quality of each outing. It's kept fresh by switching between 2D and 3D, great level design and an abundance of new ideas and gameplay elements. Still, I'm worried about how long Nintendo is gonna be able to keep it up if they crank them out yearly.

I remember when a Mario release was a huge deal after years of anticipation, and can only hope Nintendo dia...

The problem is that it requires Motion Plus, which isn't in nearly as many homes as the Wii console and remote. It's also pretty expensive and would to many be an unreasonable purchase for one game. Add to that the most fanbase-splitting title in the series since Majora's Mask and you'll get a Zelda that sells a "measly" 3.52 million units.

Then again the App Store has over 100.000 games to choose from. Unless you know what you're looking for you'll be stuck in there for weeks, and as a result the popular games are the safest bets. Not that I think sales will see a huge upturn for individual titles, but options can't hurt anyone.

@Shok
Yeah, I'll be sticking to the physical copies too unless the digital version sells at big discounts.

Well, that makes sense.

Naruto's universe is great, but the story has been a bloody mess for years now.

26. Earthbound not being localized...

Surprisingly good read, though. Chrono Trigger is especially heartbreaking. I actually failed the first time because I didn't know about the password the first time, so I ended up resetting the game and knowingly erased over 2 hours of playtime as a result.

I would if it played more like Melee.

It would be day one for me if Monolith Soft developed a launch title for the Wii U.

The Japanese one is really good, but can seem kind of exaggerated when attached to the somewhat stiff character animations during cutscenes.

The side quests can be repetitive, but what's great is that you can do most of them without even trying. When I reached a new area I spent 5-10 hours exploring and battling, picking up collectibles and materials, so when I met an NPC with a side quest I could just sit back and watch my characters level up. It's a great feeling.

There are some epic ones though. Like when you're asked to defeat Demon King Dragonia or the Battling Brutes side quest. I learned the val...

Can they really afford to cut the price right now? Just 3 days ago the story about Sony's 4 billion loss topped the homepage. A price cut will only help them stay competitive for a short while, but slashing 50 off the price now will effect their economy for years.

It's selling really well right now as it is, so it's not really necessary until the Wii U launches.

Was this televised? Posting it online will mostly only reach those that already know about it, so Nintendo really should do some heavier marketing.

Good sales for the 360, but this isn't really a top story. Someone is always number 1. Not a big deal.

Interesting. I do like these types of puzzles, so I'll put it on my 'To Download'-list. Question though: How many levels is the 800 points game itself, when the 500 points dlc has 80 of them?

Do want, but unfortunately Club Nintendo isn't available where I live.

This is usually how it goes with new launches. After the initial excitement of the launch titles and new console, it lies unused a while and you start to question your purchase. The defining game experiences usually eludes the console for a year or two.

It's the reason I don't buy handhelds until at least 1 year into their life anymore. That, and the fact that remodels has almost become a bi-annual thing.
