my cousin traded his ps3 fat to a slim model. I sold his fat ps3. However before I had sold it I logged onto the new slim and I was unable to DL the same games we had purchased earlier together (game sharing). It said the 5 ps3s are allready activated for my account. This was about a week before the 24 hour rule came into effect if you are wondering.
I called a pay (0.8 euros) per minute Sony hotline to get an explanation. He asked me how on earth did I come across 5 ps3s already...
We wouldn't be having this conversation if the x360 fans would've kept their mouths shut for the last 3 years.

Just look at most played games on xbl. Halo and COD. Halo especially wreeks of teenage angst. There's no way to get around that period. The fact even strengthens when we look at how many players are online all the time. Kids love Halo so kids playHalo. Kids do play a lot more than adults do once again because of obvious reasons.
FYI I live in Finland and our kids 4yo and 6yo are outside playing right now. I'm 28yo.
The PS3 has so many games launched in 2 months time for example that it's extremely impressive the percentage is off only by 5 percent.
I don't know how can it be possible for you guys not to think about facts of life. If I just bought 3-4 exclusive games in a couple of months it's more than likely I don't have money to buy MW2 even if I wanted to.

I'm going to be gaming on my consoles for 20+ years. I still have a nes 8bit, Sega mega drive and so on. I have almost every possible console there is but there is no way to find a working x360 a few years after they've stopped the production. It'll be the end of it. No going back and taste the nostalgia for the x360 since it'll be broken. You know this to be true but you still give compliments to MS?
Actually it might be wise to buy a few x360 and keep them in a warehouse or so...
My launch 60 gig got the YLOD and up here in Finland it cost me 260€ to get a replacement. Hear that? The f*cking thing was 2 months out of warranty and it cost me 370 usd to get a replacement console.
I've been thinking to play with the replacement console until the 1 year warranty runs out on it and then I believe I'm going to have to sell it and but myself a slim.
I've been waiting for possible bugs to be repaired from the slim but so far there doesn't seem to be ...
I felt kinda awkward playing the demo. It's JUST like GOW without the gorgeous ingame graphicks offcourse. It's quite a blatant ripoff tbh.
Theres no reason to play this if you can play GOW i.e. have a PS3.

I paid 699 euros (1013 dollars according to todays exchange rate) for my launch 60gig and it was still cheap. I've used the b/c a little in the beginning when GOW 2 launched and my PS2 wouldn't play the disc properly for some reason.
It would be perfect if Sony brought b/c to the psn store. What about paying 30 dollars for b/c? Would that be a problem?
Worst year sales wise but surely THE BEST year to be a gamer (who owns a PS3). Sales don't effect my enjoyment of games. What are you a stockholder who doesn't play games at all? That is the only possible reason for your ramblings.
