It will be a day one purchase for me and millions more. I think Modern Warfare 3 will have the best campaign ever. Sledgehammer, the original makers of Deadspace 2, will be behind the single player while Infinity Ward will no doubt bring the heat to the multi-player side of things...can't wait.
I feel sorry for whatever game is releasing in November this year...lol.
...it's Ok, but I like the look of the first game better. The graphics have definitely been downgraded.
The demo was huge at over 2gb but you might want to check that out first before you buy. Took me 40 mins to download...O_o
...you buy the 250gb version. 4 gb 360 S is useless and won't even hold many DEMO's, let alone maps packs...etc...( holds head in shame )...I bought one for $129.00 over the holidays, now I'm looking at how much a bigger HD costs...O_o...damn you M$...lol.
BTW...already have a 60gb 360...but still.
I love the COD franchise and can't wait to see how this turned out. MW2 still is one of the best looking and playing games this gen. What other FPS is running 60 fps...lol...Rage will be if it's not delayed again.
I didn't care for the single player in Black ops but everything else was top notch and the game is still selling...new maps Feb 1, if you have a 360 version.
It's too bad about the PS3 and PC versions but I buy all multi-plats on 360...

What Crytek is saying is that the consoles have the best development going...case closed. No two PC's are the same so making a game with the latest and great equipment doesn't prove anything. At the end of the day it's creativity and making the most with the least that wins the day.

WoW...has this guy ever played a RPG before. Besides reviewing games that came out 3 months ago, last year in fact, this kid doesn't even seem to understand what RPG means or stands for...lol.
I agree with the graphics not being all they could be but complaining about collision detection problems in a game like this shows how little you know about the genre.
RPG's are all about " trivial and boring " game play and millions enjoy that typ...

WOW...when you are dealing in billions of dollars...you can expect this kind of deep investigation. I wonder how Activision got hold of all these private e-mails...it's not looking good for Ea at the moment.
Alan Wake was/is a great game...that is well known. The problem is it didn't push 12 million units like Halo or COD.
As for sales...last I heard it was around 850,000 before the holiday price cut. It was recently revealed to be one of Xbox'x most pirated games at 1.14 million. COD:black ops had less pirated copies at 960,000. What was the most pirated game on 360???...How about Dante's Inferno at 1.5 million.

There is alot to explain in the Gears universe and I believe they want to tell Marcus fenix's back story. Gears Exile could be a game, movie short, comic book...anything at this point...but it will have to do with how Marcus ended up in jail at the beginning of Gears 1.
In regards to Gears of war on other platforms...could happen BUT not Gears 1,2,3...those were/are published by M$ and they control what platform they release on.

What the heck is going on at Sony. It's like the game barely exists over there. Where's all the adds and why are reviews coming out 6 weeks prior to the game release??? There is alot of stuff on line but if you want new buyers, you have to get this stuff out there...Guerrilla deserves better. Say what you want about M$, EA or Activision but Sony could learn a thing or two about pushing their games.

I have my opinions about Red Faction Guerrilla, but that interview, Hips antics aside, told me what I wanted to here.
The lighting in the first game was brutal with launch title written all over it. The physics on the other hand were easily some of the best use of the Havok engine ever. Many times while playing some of the driving segments I thought I was in a mad max movie. Get the demo, it's better than the game...lol.
