The fact that they are withholding the Joker as a means to get more money from players is shameful.
They could not show one more single thing and just drop a release date and GTA6 will sell like hotcakes.
Completely agree! I'll freely admit it wasn't a game the year contender but it was solid, had a good story with a good amount if humor. It's an easy pick up at free. Hell, it was an easy pickup at the 15 or do dollars a pair last year at this time for it.
Probably should add a fun campaign to the list.
PoE 2's closed beta is scheduled for June 7th of this year. That doesn't included an open beta or changes likely to happen from feedback (Feedback that GGG is more likely to consider than most developers) so to say it's coming out soon seems to be settling one up for disappointment.
I fully expect us to be closer to a year out than anything else.
@sagapo PoE has more depth as it's been built on for a decade. I'm not saying PoE2 won...
Not to sound like a dick but I'm not sure how serious I can take a list that includes "Suicide Squad" on its "biggest games to look forward too" list.
I saw more love for the DC universe in Gotham Knight Importers. Suicide Squad just looks like a loveless corporate cash grab.
Tencent owns more than just mobile games. They own the majority of Grinding Gear Games (Path of Exile), owns 40% of Epic Games (Fortnight, Rocket League), and outright owns Riot Games (League of Legends).
I'm sure there's others I'm not thinking off right now.
Need to see way more but Stalker styled games always pique my interest.
Uncharted 2's MP might be the most fun I've had in any MP. It certainly had issues, a lot of them being netcode and not being popular, but damn was it fun when you got the right room.
Sadly, Sony/ND was never ever to capitalized on the franchise's single player popularity and most ignored the mode in UC3 and UC4 too.
Just wanting for it to release on Steam.
Naw, the main reason is because they want as many double dips as they can get. They want primary PC gamers to buy it on console and then turn around and buy it on PC.
Well, that was kind of creepy...
They won't release on PC till they get money from the console owner PC gamers... Who will by the game again for mods and whatnot.
> What’s keeping them from making profits like Steam?
Basically, good will. There's a lot of good will towards Value and not much, if any, for Epic in the PC community. Epic started as a PC game developer, abondoned it to jump to consoles, while calling all pc gamers pirates. They came back with their surplus of Fortnight money and started buying exclusives to try to force their shitty storefront on PC gamers.
I enjoyed origins for what it was and thought it brought some interesting ideas into those batman games while mainly copying what was done before.
Gotham Knight... Just no.
I messed around aith rhe demo earlier, played the first mission and goofed around in the hub area after that mission, and it's not bad.
Obviously, it's not a AAA title with that level of detail but it plays well and certainly feels like the orginal Robocop movie. I don't see myself getting it day one but when it goes on sale? Hell yeah.
@Profchaos, I wouldn't say it's a bad game.
More of a a competent game in a niche genre that's underperformed due to its launch window.
I look forward to getting it at a later date.
So can't get the promised MP mode out but you can get a cheap remaster out the door?
Not a great look, ND. I hope your next project is closer to done than just starting it
