Some but not many... And none technically advanced enough to warrant such a conversation. It was games of skill back then, no real stories, no real way to convey feelings, etc.
Patch is suppose to hit this weekend so besides tarnishing their name for a silly reason (3 days later) I don't really see the huge deal...

Eh... I wouldn't give Valve too much credit here... Their lax standards, and way too hands off approach, to Steam allowed these clowns to release a constant stream of crap.
Don't get me wrong I'm glad Valve stepped in but they enabled them.
Luckily, there is a return policy via Steam. (You got two hours of playtime and two weeks of title ownership.)

Because they are as firmly established on consoles as MS/Sony will allow them to be... and, simply put, on a large subset of PC users if it's not on Steam they don't remember it exists so Ubisoft losses a fair amount of money to Valve/Steam on each sale because people buy it on Steam and not uplay.
Tldr: They are promoting their pc store/platform uplay and nothing more. (Aka it's not a love PC hate console players mentality.)
Not sure about millions but he sure could have gotten more for it than he did from MS for returning it. (I would say laptop, 360, and kinect was about $900.)

I've never played Destiny, not on the platform of my choice, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. Nice to see Bungie throw a bone to the gun's unexpected fans.
(And the option to have a scope that's new or cracked based upon the player's desire.)
I don't really no allot about WoW but I think its fair to say that the Division has less characters needing screen time and a much tighter knit story. Less world setting, etc.
I don't think The Division would be pushing for any awards (at least the sought after ones) but it could be a serious contender for summer blockbuster of the year.
Frankly, seems a bit extreme to call it a ripoff when it's just another option and it brings games to PC that likely wouldn't come to PC.
One can always wait for a sale if you don't like the price...
And, frankly, I'm just happy to see Forza on PC and Gears return to PC. I hope the trend continues.

If it does have PVP I got to recommend skipping it till after the game is out... Cheating runs rampant in Ubisoft titles and you cannot trust them to be honest about it.
Better to wait, and see what others are saying about it, than to be stuck with a game that's all but lacking joy because of cheaters...

Anyhow, on PC I snagged a Origins copy from Amazon for $37.02 so not even close to 60 bucks so I'm happy.
The rewards are on par... the number of times it can be done in a week...? We really don't know.
I don't really see why it needs to be so limited... Surely one can run the DZ for gear much quickier.

I do get where your coming from but having seen it in action on their 1.2 stream and I feel they got the balance and mechanics on it just about right.
Personally, I'm more excited for the HOT PvE in the campaign world than anything else.
Nah, no thanks. There's certainly room for improvement in the preformance on PC but, truth be told, it's not that bad (at least on my rig) and I'm enjoying it on my PC just fine.
