I am not huge of FFVIII, but this game deserves a rerelease. Since we every FF got a rerelease even Crystal.

Well people were asking for it since ever and PS3 tech demo set the fire, they had to because they thought the developing was good but apparently they scrapped almost everything and start over, I mean SE mismanagment again for fan service. Happened to FFXIII, FFXV, KH3 and this.
I wouldn't put Overwatch since its have double maps and modes, and a lot of contents for free.
Great examples would be NFS and The Crew.
What do you expect from companies its fans still support them even though the hardware is the most expensive and the weakest and almost for 2 years never been sold at MSRP price, selling portables without chargers, game prices holds forever, releasing game console in 2017 without web, without apps, without voice chat, without any kind of service except store that never been on real sales and never really developed new Pokemon since GC.

Demos don't exist anymore except for FIFA and very low sales games such as Titanfall 2 and ME: Andromeda and the rest about 20+gb 3 days betas.
There are exceptions such as Valkaryie and Yakuza.
Nothing good about this Switch at all except games, the software is meh, online service pathetic, the hardware is just Wii U pro, internal storage is so limited and no company release with such storage anymore, there ain't any app or web access, the store is boring, full of last gen ports and deluxe editions (which are actually defentive and complete editions of previous titles), with all these ports Nintendo didn't even give a bother to release GC and Wii amazing titles.
XBS bundles are being for $250 for a while wbich support your point even more.
The same reason why PS2 is the best, while MS is trying to enforce things and mostly westren tatses and Nintendo play weird small dvds and too little exclusives and too little 3rd party, Sony was busy by just release games and games and games.
It won't sell anyway. All FF games that ever released on Xbox are barely equal to OG FFXIII sales number on PS3.

Mutliplat are COD, FIFA, Battlefront and Fortnite as most, I assume.
The only mutliplat games I really respects are these offer a lot and really special and premium quality as example: The Witcher 3, Nier, Overwatch, Batman Arkham City, Bayonetta, Vanquish, RE7, MGS Rising etc but half of US gamers care about pathetic flat FPS experiences as Destiny, COD and Skyrim.
I felt that already by playing The Witcher 3, man, side quests were intense and rich with contents more than any FPS that have ever released within last two generations.
