Murderdolls, your statement fails when comparing a niche market vs a broad market. Gust develope niche rpgs that wouldn't benefit the costs of making it multiplatform. On the other hand, Bungie's games have a wide appeal and with the increasing number of PS3s in the US it would make a lot of sense for them to broaden their audience. It's not that they're Sony fanboys but that they know where their core audience is and that's on Sony platforms. I mean why would a company put a niche game on a console that doesn't sell in their home territory and where their target market doesn't lie.... oh wait... where have I seen that before...?
As much as I love Heavy Rain, this dude has made some of the best point and click adventures, He has a right to say what he wants imo. I think you also missed the part about him praising the game too.
I really liked playing firefight with friends but after playing 5 or 6 times, I got real tired of it. Hopefully they add matchmaking and other features to make it more fun. I would really like to see them have sub-objectives to make it feel less monotonous.

I'm not trying to stick up for DMC2 in any way but the game that we know today as DMC2 was not originally that at all. After DMC's popularity they turned a game in previous development into DMC by adding Dante and a few other tweaks and story elements.
Having played Portal recently on PS3 I have to say that the port is good but the load times are unacceptable. It takes like 20 seconds for the game to load your previous save.
Oh, I totally agree. If I still had a PC then I'd definitely upgrade to 7 but since my Dell crapped out after only 3 years I then decided to switch to Apple mostly because of some real cool features and the amazing customer service. I really play games on my computer with the exception of emulators and SCUMMVM and some point and click adventures. The best features of Windows 7 are stolen directly from Mac OSX and they stabilized their operating system. It's pretty funny to see those Windows 7 commercials where they're promoting features that have been on Mac for a long time. Typical MS and their me too attitude in terms of features.
How is Sega a winner? They threw 2 games into the graveyard of March to get it in on the fiscal year. Instead of holding the games till the next few months, they killed the possibility of their games selling a lot better. Not to mention pissing fans off with the whole Yakuza 3 fiasco.
I agree. I love the persona series but I would love even more to see a new SMT main series games on an HD console, just PS3. I mean the last SMT games on home consoles were persona 3, 3:FES and 4 so a new side story/spinoff or main story game is long overdue. Hell, persona is always welcome and I'll play the sh!t out of the newest installment.... unless it's a 360 exclusive....fat chance.
That's great that you're an adult and enjoy playing DS but you have to be completely ignorant not to admit that Nintendo's target demographic for the DS is children. Yes it caters to all ages but if you believe for a minute that ages 4-13 aren't the majority of DS owners then I'm sure Nintendo is glad you're not on their marketing team.
I totally agree but Sega could've at least tried to garner interest from people who have finished FF13 and are looking for their next JRPG fix rather than releasing the game in the same month. I just seems like a really stupid business move.
Too bad Sega are marketing geniuses and put this game out against juggernauts like Final Fantasy XIII and God of War 3. This game will go unnoticed to most gamers due to Sega trying to get this game out before the fiscal year instead of holding this game until the summer when it would actually sell more units. Then Sega will blame the fans for not buying the game like they always do. It's a real shame since the game is getting good reviews (mostly 8s). The same thing happened to Shadow Hearts...
