The voice acting isn't THAT bad. Come one, this probably has the best voice acting for the series and they use some pretty well known talents for this game. Also there is the jp language option coming too.
I'm sure it's not doing all that great with all the player-run servers out there.

If FFXIII was a new IP then I think I would have enjoyed it more and maybe would've given it a few passes on stuff that irritated me. Except they kinda weren't the first to do that. Nintendo did it with the gamecube and Gba with games like final fantasy cc and here was a pacman game too. LoZ wind waker and animal crossing also had functionalty with it too.
Unfortunately, this is a civil trial brought about by Sony against Hotz so it's for damages (money) only. If this were a criminal trial (ie. California v. Hotz) then there would be the possibility of jail time. We can always hope that Sony blasts his ass with debt so that he doesn't pay his taxes and has fun in jail for tax evasion... it could happen.
So.. they're saying that a nintendo handheld could be doing cross computability with non-nintendo home consoles. Very unlikely.
