I guess a high school education could be a good start.
I think WiiU may suffer from the 3DS's brand confusion problem because the name is so similar with is predecessor. Consumer confusion with whether the WiiU is just the name of the controller or an entirely new console might hinder sales. Nintendo would be smart if they stopped production on Wii games right away so that people can move on to WiiU and avoid confusion with Wii and WiiU titles.
I guess everyone at IGN play their games on easy. Play the game a lot and get good at it. That was the only way to beat most games in the 8 and 16 bit days. Gamers are so pampered now with difficulty settings (beginner, very easy, very easy, very very very very very very easy). I think games should be harder. I've played through too many games this gen that have held my hand the whole way through and only has 1 difficulty setting. Sometimes it's just not fun since there's no chall...
There was a ton of fat they could've trimmed in XIII that they could've just combined the two games into one. The last boss was a chump anyway and really could've been a mid game boss. Really wish they would've used a standard level up system instead of the crappy one they used too.
I switched to AT&T for the IPhone about 15 months ago and I'm not planning on getting the 3G version since their 3G is pretty awful. Then again I don't see too many chances that I would use 3G compared to wifi and 3G would drain the battery pretty quickly.
So far from what I've read is that the game has very little replay value. From what I understand it only has 1 mode and the only thing you can do is try to get a better high score.
The Criterion for Thin Red Line is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely not my favorite film in their catalog but it's totally worth it for the quality and the film has great cinematography.
Collecting all the figments is one of my proudest gaming achievements.
I don't understand why Capcom felt the need to reboot a series that never needed to be rebooted in the first place.
MS doesn't have enough 1st party devs to launch a handheld. They barely have enough working on 360. Relying solely on 3rd party devs would cause havoc for MS in the handheld market. They'd best to stay far away from it.
I had read in some interview that Lightning will eventually be a playable character at some point in the game. Unforunately I don't remember the source that I read the interview from.
I couldn't stand Serah the little that she was in the game. Really wish they killed her off and ended the game on a cliffhanger so it didin't seem like this game was just a tacked on cash in. Lightning was a decent main character and by far the most interesting of a cast full of scrubs. Really hope it doesn't take forever to swap out party members in 13-2 so I can boot Serah put as soon as possible.
Edit: agreed! At least we don't have to worry about vanille ...
I'm planning on starting my playthrough of Uncharted 1 & 2 in anticipation for this game. It was a ton of fun reloading Uncharted 1 before Uncharted 2 came out.
Brand confusion might also be a factor. Most parents who are buying stuff for their kids don't know anything about the consoles. I bet that most people don't even know that 3ds isn't a remodeling of the DS but an entirely new handheld. I mean, they just looks at the price difference between the DS and the 3DS and the decision shouldn't be a tough one for an unknowing parent. Even the design is extremely close that most consumers couldn't tell them apart. Nintendo really sh...
This list is severely out of order.
Can't wait for these little bitches to go to jail. They'll have to watch this first to prepare.
"hey kids, We're going to Disneyland!"
"YAYYYYYYYYY! OMG, DISNEYLAND!!!!!"
"On Kinect"
"Oh...."
Can't wait for people to leak your game a$$hole.
The main problem with MS's implementation of kinect in core games is that it's all tacked on. All I've seen from kinect in core games have been unnecessary customization, voice commands, etc. They haven't offered a whole new control scheme (would be very difficult to do, I know) or something detrimental to affect the gameplay. While the new implementations that they are adding are purely optional, it seems as though they're just throwing them in there because they can say ...
It could go either way. The strategy I mention worked incredibly well for the Xbox360 after they stopped production on the original Xbox pretty soon after they released the new console. Then again, the original Xbox wasn't the sales powerhouse that the Wii is.
