You got 3 titles coming across various systems under the fabula nova crystallis umbrella instead of one exclusive kick arse game on one system. This is not all good but not all bad either ...its just not the same though. I still think FF13 will deliver a great time but will it leave an imprint like prior FF's like 6-8 did on me? Nothing again...

It is an alarming # MS put out the billion dollar (also alarming) waranty plan back when a retailers survey found the failure rate was 33% the suckers failed 3 times on me before I gave up trying to get a reliable unit and I heard worse from others online and off. I thought it was crazy to get 3 failed consoles in such a short span of time.
using a survey from a non bias outlet is actually good and they took into account the install base #'s when coming up with the percentage if you read the article you would know.
What do you want a # straight from MS? Would you believe the # they gave you considering its in there best interest to give you as low a # possible....mhmm. I have had 3 , 360's all failed so I am inclined to believe that # is true representation.

I could be wrong but I think the ps3 will do a 100 million+ sold or more before its no longer supported, if the wii or 360 reach that mark its because they too stuck with there console for more then 3-5 years. Which if that happens you can thank Sony for setting the trend of the 10 year lifecycle.
When each console has such a vast install base its good because it shows the industry is large enough to sustain 3 consoles for such a long time whilst having next gen consoles overlap ...

The PS3 system resources are not allocated the same as a pc or 360 the RAM is not unified so a game that is ported can suffer. Coding for PS3 like its the 360 or PC is not going to show what the PS3 has to offer. Thats not a blu ray issue.
