The best thing out of the MS showing was something that has been known to be coming to PS3 for a long as5 time now.
You know what E3 just started and Sony is likely to bring something new thats worthy to the table for the "hardcore" audience. All that waiting for applause was embarrasing to watch. Lucky for them Squeenix bailed them out.
Sony actually approached Ninty to make a joint console before PS1 launched. So Sony was pretty honorable about the way they began the playstation era. They indeed brought the FF's to PS1 because of the CD medium over cartridge.
FF13 came to 360 as well due to MS launching 360 early and it gaining that large install base. If PS3 had been able to launch at the same time as 360. FF13 might still be totaly PS3 exclusive.
I predict 360 version will be on 5 discs. Maybe even a 6th for bonus materials. Still it would be a gimped version.

lost some serious ground MS don't play...well they do but dirty. FF franchise is only eclipsed in sales and fanbase by few ip's. Even though Sony has excellent 1st party ip's this is a sad day for PS3.

I noticed Infinite Undiscovery was branded exclusive.. Right after that they showed Star Ocean 4 as coming to 360 in 09 If it were exclusive why not say so just like Infinite Undiscovery.
I would have to think Star Ocean 4 will be on PS3 as well. Star Ocean 3 was on ps2. Squeenix is a dirty whor3 I still got love for them though.
They re-edited and regurgitated that footage nothing new. Its still pretty as ever though. See what we meant when we said Star Ocean 4 does not even touch FF13?

I hope the exclusive ps3 JP version that launches first has english options like the JP Siren New Translation. Then I could import for PS3 and be satisfied early too 99% of all blu ray ps3 games are region free.
I notice he says there will be a 360 "Version." Im thinking that the PS3 version wont be gimped. Distinguishing it by version could mean the full experience would still be had on the PS3.
It will be interesting to compare the 2 versions after they release. I want a date too seriously.
This is not the phoenix down I need. Sony needs to get realistic and secure Squeenix AAA teams next project be the FF7 remake/Sequel Price should be no object. They should be fighting for this like brazilian mud wrestlers. Down and dirty.
