I have not bought NG2 yet but this makes me want to pick it up when I get SCIV Vader version. This is redemption for charging for extra costumes. The way I see it.
The Norse legend inspired storyline is interesting Odin is full of win. The character designs and environments are pretty good for using UE3. The controls remind me of Death by Degrees somewhat, Im not sure if Its a good or bad thing yet though.

It would have been alot better if it was built on an engine like Crystal tools or something built from the ground up for TH specifically. I will buy it most likely.

Sony does have the most in house studios. One thing they need to do though is start looking to develop an in house rpg with kick ass Icons. At least 1 that is the flag bearer for the company.
Nintendo has had the Mario bros. Link etc as Icons.
MS has had Masterchief as a distinct icon.
When I look back across the PS era I think of the Icons like Snake, Lara Croft, Crash Bandicoot, Jin Kazama. Its all 3rd party.

Not a bad idea. Im actually glad that FF13 will have 2 install bases to feed off of. As an FF fan I want to see it break sales records and recieve Critical Acclaim. I was bitter at first though because I thought they might scale back the size and scope of the game. In the end though I think it will be aight.

Sony has had an RPG team before back in the PS1 era they did Legend of Dragoon. Which was really good IMO. it did not gain critical acclaim though.

I would not judge AI until I personally played a demo. Anything else is just speculation. Even then a demo does not reflect the final product 100% If its still a work in progress.

Usually an RPG once an engine is built and assets are created it would not take to long to fill up discs with content and CG intro's , Endings and everything inbetween gameplay that furthers the story line. Especially since Squeenix has studios that can make even MGS4 cut scenes look short and less detailed. ie. Spirits within , Advent children. Every FF game thats r...
Look at it this way say FF14 fully uses 3 BD's. Your going to need around 15 dvds to have the same game on 360. No joke. These are the early PS3 games were talking about. They don't get smaller as we go on... It would have been nice if FF13 spanned 2 or 3 BD's no chance of that now though.
He played a great Joker. R.I.P Heath. It was a great movie to see on the big screen. The choreography was not the greatest though.
