Ummmmm I love Sony's games buy Only Nintendo has enough 1st party exclusives to be able to carry a system by themselves. If you think Sony and Microsoft put togather has as many 1st party exclusives then you have NOT followed Nintendo at ALL.

I'd agree if it is a turn based game.
On the other hand if it is a action based game Square has always said they can make a good action rpg in 2-3 years, and a turn based one in 6 years. But that's not the only reason.
So seeing how it will be broken up into episodes, and it may be a action rpg (I don't actually believe this part myself) but in that case it could come out this year. In Japan at least IF it is action based.
Sorry but both your statements are incorrect. Wii u did not have a bunch of games. First party or not. And SWITCH will NOT end up with slightly less. It is already scheduled to have 70% of the amount of wii u totals games in its first year! Look at www.releases.com
After last generation there was 80 million Xbox fans. But I dont see 80 million Xbox ones being sold. So it is MORE than just previous fans.
After wii's 100 million sales Wii U did not sell 100 million so also in that case it was not just previous fans. Same can be said about Genesis to Saturn. etc

I expect them to announce the LEGEND OF DRAGOON 2! Not because it is a reasonable request. Don't take this personally but, your math is wrong. 3 million in 5 months does not mean it will beat a machine that sold 2.74 million in just ONE month.
There has NEVER been a console manufacturer that kept up the quality of their games to the level it will SELL CONSOLES after they went 3rd party. Out of the 30 console manufacturers not a single one. Including the last one Sega. So basically you would be killing off the quality you now have from Nintendo.
It's funny how people only want to acknowledge we are in the launch window to minimize Nintendo success. But Earlier when we was talking about the number of games in the LAUNCH window people where saying Launch window is bull and does not count.
Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo have all said they negotiate for the best PRICE/PERFORMANCE ratio, and Nintendo also power consumption is more strongly considered. i guess the price for how many teraflops you get for the money is not competitive enough. May also have to do with having a chance to be backwards compatible.
