"War... War never changes...
Once you’ve heard that line, you know you’re playing a Fallout game (or MGS 4, incidentally)"
lol, true
I'm glad the beginning of the game goes a lot faster than Fallout 3. Great intro, too.
Very good. Bad Company 2 is a good game.
lol the government gets one more free way to monitor a few million more Americans.
Lovely =/
HOT is definitely correct. I swapped out my HD5770 for a GTX460 but DAMN was that bitch hot. When I uninstalled it from my tower, it was literally too hot to handle for about 10 minutes.
It was most definitely NOT worth the heat just for the 5 to possibly 10% performance gain over the 5770.
I popped my XFX 5770 back in...so quiet, even in my ATX-mid case which doesn't ventilate too well.
It was a combination of poor cooling design by Microsoft and the X-clamp underneath the mobo that caused the board to warp.
In any case, I hope no one ever takes any inspiration from Microsoft hardware design, because either they design ugly-ass brick-tanks (xbox 1) or rinky-dinky failboxes (360).
Hopefully next gen, Microsoft will give us a product that falls somewhere in the middle.
I thought you were killed off a few site revisions ago. I can't believe you're still around, Jason360.
Anyways, Kinect looks very mediocre with very little dev support beyond dance, exercise and casual titles.
Very, very "meh".
You and me both LOL
Score! lol
Ya know, I've seen looks on peoples' faces that say "I'm actually genuinely impressed at this tech", when they play PlayStation Move demo kits, and that's just when they try ping pong or archery!
People pick it up and play it naturally, and it just works. There may be a simple calibration required, but after that, you follow simple instructions and after a minute people are plucking and firing arrows and putting top spin on ping pong balls like nobod...
Fantastic blog post. Good read, good points.
The sixaxis aspect of the DS3 controller was never meant to be a headliner, which was the message some people initially received. It was meant to be an accessory to standard controller gameplay.
A game that deftly uses sixaxis movements is Killzone 2. That's how it should be implemented.
As far as Move goes...this is an entirely new control scheme that is replete with a full Ad campaign and developer support.
Naturally there will be a few...
Ouch.
Don't put periods in headlines!
Anyways, decent read.
Hey DOJ admin - you spelled Judgment wrong in your website name, that is unless you're a dirty dirty Brit =)
The fact that it's a good game isn't being disputed.
The principle of game quality overrides and takes precedence over whether a game is fun, though.
What they said ^
I feel incredible pity for beta testers such as yourself (they should be paying YOU)
EDIT:
lol you clearly don't understand the principle. And if you choose to acknowledge what I'm saying but you don't care...you aren't quite right in the head.
How much you wanna bet that there will be a credit for him on the back of the damned retail box "corporal blah blah voiced by Ice Cube"
Both games are mediocre at best when it comes to graphics. Nothing spectacular is going on in real-time. Hence the 60fps we all love.
Plus, I don't really see any true improvement, graphically. I see changes in lighting technique, different light mapping style and a few different changes in atmosphere, but no real "improvements", per se.
People need to understand the difference between changes and improvements.
Naturally Treya...
"Legends' combat will have a particular focus on tactics and co-operative gameplay that utilises the strengths of Facebook."
So...it'll ask you to invite friends to play the game every hour? Buy tokens? Click on meaningless quests over and over?
No thanks.
