He might. A lot of indie titles on PS platform are high quality and selling well too, while Sony didn't have to spent tons of money to make them. Personally i'm gladly take indie titles such as Transistor, No Man's Sky, Rime, Rogue Legacy, or Hotline Miami over crap like AC Unity, CoD, Watchdogs, or The Crew.
But fortunately Sony covers both side. We've got AAA exclusive like Bloodborne, The Order, UC 4, SF V, Persona 5, and many more on the horizon. So people...
They just released SMT IV two years ago and now busy with Persona 5, P4D, and Fire Emblem x SMT.
From my standpoint as a Persona fans, the answer is no.

- we can negotiate with demons (Persona 1 & 2)
- 1st person dungeons (only Persona 1 had it)
- spreading rumours that affect the plotline (only Persona 2 had it)
- and using different weapons for both hands, example left hand for gun and right hand for sword

- Theatrhythm & sequel localized by SE and still exclusive to 3DS
- Bravely Default & sequel still exclusive to 3DS and it's not the 1st time SE refused to localize their games. See Type-0 for PSP, a lot of Front Mission games such as FM 2 or FM 5, Code Age Commanders, and more titles for non-Nintendo platform that SE didn't localize.

Cmiiw, i think Persona 4 still hold the biggest comercial success for Atlus. Both PS2 + vita version combine sold more than 1,68 million copies worldwide, minus the fighting games and dancing game. So let see if P5 can exceed what Persona 4 already achieved.
