For short, this game isn't for gamers who loves regenerating health, checkpoint every 5 steps, hints every second of where to go or what must do, or story where everything already prepared in a silver plate.
I'm glad though that some devs still have the balls on making games like Souls series / Bloodborne.

I don't see this as a cheap tactic. In real life a sword, axe, spear, or hammer are really heavy. It takes time and good stamina to use them.
So yeah this game isn't for people who thinks they can slaughter hundreds or thousand of enemies in a couple of attacks and moves with supersonic speed. If you prefer that than you should just stick with Dynasty Warrior, God of War, DMC, or Bayonetta.

No, it's not. Plenty of promising games to play from P5, FF XV, Ys 8, Tales of Zestiria, new Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Bloodborne, MGS V, Tokyo Xanadu, etc.
Not all of japanese devs "westernize" their games you know. There still a lot of them who still stick with traditional japanese gameplay / story, which sadly western gamers didn't gave enough attention because those devs are small or not as popular as SE, Capcom, Konami, Nintendo, or Bamco.
You also can't fully blame japanese devs where the majority of western gamers going gaga over WRPG like Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, or The Witcher and FPS like COD ...
Not surprised, it's Dragon Quest and japan will eat it up.

For 1st time playthrough where you didn't skip all cutscenes and codec? No. I've spent like 8-10 hours or more when i beat MGS 4. But for the 2nd time you play it you can finished MGS 4 under 6 hours.
It's a console exclusive because you don't see this on PS3/vita/3DS/WiiU/X360/X1. Plus, there will be no SFV if Capcom didn't come to Sony and ask Sony to fund it.
To me it looks the same speed as SF IV. But comparing a game that still in work and only a couple of info here and there VS a finished game that already had a lot of balances updates is really...pointless.
Oh well, i can see this as another try to downplay PS4 exclusives. The Order and Bloodborne already experienced it, so why not try with SFV even the game still in works and didn't have release date?
