Great interview. There's a lot of interesting background story about RE that i can't find in the game. But too bad Mikami canceled the original version of RE 4. From Kawamura explanation, i find the original RE 4 more creepy and stick with RE 1 root before Mikami turned it more action.
Maybe next year because right now platinum are busy with anarchy reigns and rising.
Yesterday i just question where the hell is versus. And right now, i read this NEW info that nomura "working on information" about versus. But he can't give it yet because wada have business in planet jupiter. So nomura must wait for his boss to come back first, than he can released that versus info for the fans.

i thought SE will give new detail about versus after xiii-2 got released in the US (they don't want versus info blocked xiii-2 sales right?). And here we are in the middle of march 2012 with zero new info bout versus -_-

Really? Than why i cried when Big Boss gave his final salute to the Boss grave in MGS 3 ending? Why i felt sad every time i killed the collossus in SotC? etc etc etc.
Well, imho video games can be as emotional as a novel, an art / painting, or a movie. Because video games is a medium with unlimited potential that can expressed our wildest dreams. And i'm proud to be a gamer ;)

I will skip NG 3 but DoA 5 looks great.
Yeah, Hayashi already told that NG 3 only have one weapon type in story mode that is a sword / katana. This far i only spoted 2 sword. One in chapter 2 given by Ayane is Jingu-maru (Hayate sword). Second is Blade of Archfiend when Ryu fight that prof X wannabe. Well if you want to include Dragon sword than so far NG 3 had 3 sword.
But look's like i too will skip NG 3. Maybe i will buy it later but when the price is dirt-cheap...
