Did this reviewer really play Toukiden? Beside village full of NPC's with their own job (item shop, blacksmith), stamina bar that limit our character moves (attack, run, dodge), and multiple areas to explore in every mission, i don't see any resemblance with MH. For example, MH doesn't have Mitama or purifying body parts of the monster so they can't regenerate again.

Yes, David doesn't do motion act for Snake because Konami already hired more experience actors to do the stunt. But saying David not gave his input or don't do anything for MGS is a complete false. David even gave up half his own paycheck just because he wants to bring all original cast for MGS: Twin Snakes!

Sorry dude, that goes for both sides. People loved MGS because it has great story, gameplay, music, AND excellent voice actors who gave life to the characters.
If MGS doesn't have David Hayter as Solid Snake, maybe the game still popular. But i don't think it will be as popular as now. Because there are tons of games who had great characters, but their own voice act...

Japanese dev inexperienced with open world games? FYI, Shenmue is the 1st game that revolutionize 3D open world. Shenmue introduced day-night cycles, changing weather, and fully voiced npc's who had their own activities, and of course freedom to explore a city without breaking the experience into small area.
With this amazing achievement, even the mighty R* FOLLOW Shenmue by making a big change to GTA series started from GTA III.

I love Revelations and it's better than 5 / 6. The only flaw i saw are:
1) Need more variety for the enemies
2) The part when we play as Keith & Quint. If only they just remove those section and put that into more playing time for Jill, maybe solving puzzle or fight some boss like Lost in Nightmare, than i'm sure Revelations will be better
There's two Yakuza spin-off based on Samurai: one is Kenzan where you play as Miyamoto Musashi and two is Ishin / Restoration, the newest iteration where you play as Ryoma Sakamoto, the member of Shinsengumi. If me, i want SEGA localize both game.

SEGA bought Atlus and there's a rumour about Atlus will localize Yakuza 5. So i don't understand what is your point with this article. If you don't like Yakuza 5 than fine. But Yakuza fans (including me) wants this game so bad that they don't mind to kill one or two people so they can have Yakuza 5 in the west.
And don't fully blamed SEGA about stoping the localization of Yakuza, because western gamers had a big chunck of respo...
A couple of them like Natural Doctrine and Oreshika 2 doesn't have confirmation for US/EU. But the rest already got it. In fact, DanganRonpa, Toukiden, and DBZ already released a couple days ago.
If you want to buy a Vita, i think you should get Borderlands 2 bundle. It's $199 bundle with Vita slim (not OLED), Borderlands 2 + DLC, and 8 Gig memory card. Last year i bought the Walking Dead bundle with the same price but i've only got 4 Gig memory card.
