U2 was my favourite game from last gen. Everything about it was absolutely perfect: the graphics, gameplay, set pieces, the pacing, the puzzles. Every time I played it, I just couldn’t stop until I finished the whole thing in a day or two.

The only appealing exclusive on Xbox looks to be psychonauts, cyberpunk stole the show with Keanu’s announcement and that’s about it. Nothing else happened that caught my attention. When it came to showing actual gameplay it was pretty awful. If I were an Xbox owner, I’d be hyped up to finally play god of war in 8k on ps5. MS still hasn’t made a game that came close to it and won’t so at least till the beginning of next gen.
If Stadia works without latency, or frame rate drops, Sony is in real trouble. Not needing a console is a game changer. I can predicts parents rejoicing the fact that they don’t need to spend the initial 300-400 dollars on consoles for their kids. Quality will determine its outcome. Sony needs to go even harder on their first party exclusives development to stay in the game.
It all comes down to performance over anything else. If they can pull this off with no hit to input lag, resolution, frame rate, etc, they might have a monster in their hands. It’s not innovative at all, yes, but nobody has done it right yet. I will still prefer the PS over anything else, as they make games that cater to me.
I remember the golden era of Capcom from 2000-2008. Looks like they’re back to their very best.

It’s true Xbox gamers are probably better at games where the player who is the quickest to point the cursor at the target wins. Congrats. That’s all you guys play anyways. PS gamers will destroy you lot in every other genre especially in the fgc, where you actually need real skills.
Spider-Man has a few problems especially with its lack of boss fights and uninteresting side missions, but gameplay? Hell no, you’re delusional, the combat system is better than most games out there, using multiple gadgets at the same time is an absolute blast. I still can’t get over how I webbed an enemy to a moving car and the car just went away with the enemy stuck to its door. Lol. This is so true. The game is no fun after you get over the gorgeous visuals. The controls are absolutely terrible too.
There are many things but it’s mainly the art style for me. I really hate the MvC style cell-shaded character models. You should also compare the woleverine in this with the one in the original game. That game put more care into the characters. I just feel this way based on the footage they’ve shown so far. I hope I am wrong.

When I buy a new Uncharted game, I wanna play an Uncharted game with a few new-gen tweaks. I want the over-the-top set-pieces, incredible graphics and adventure. If you want to create a different experience for gamers, just make a new IP.

I remember the first time I played Skyrim, it was an incredible experience to immerse myself in a medieval world filled with vampires, werewolfs, mages, giants, and dragons. The feeling of getting stronger was addictive even though the combat wasn’t as great. Witcher 3, however, kinda felt like a poor man’s Skyrim with an already developed character, hence why I can’t even force myself to complete it

That’s absolutely true. These journalists are in such a rush to push reviews out. They play a game until they think they get the feel of it and that’s it. This is not how you review games or anything. Imagine people reviewing movies or music this way. Absolutely ridiculous, hence why I watch this guy called ‘the completionist’ on YouTube. He 100% every game he reviews. IMO best reviewer out there. I didn’t get why Days Gone sold so much despite the bad reviews until I watched his video.
