I was thinking in my head for some stuff. So, MS showed bandwith on XO presentation yesterday. 204 GB/s, right. So, GPU uplock happened. Before uplock eSRAM bandwith was 102 GB/s ( it's not 204 because eSRAM can not do read/write operation at the same time ). Now, after uplock, bandwith increased to 109 GB/s, or math like Microsoft - 218 GB/s.
I have a question. Did anyone noticed on presentation why MS didn't showed 109 GB/s for eSRAM or 218 GB/s on some slides?
About XO presentation and about bandwith. Microsoft's bullshiting again!
Ars Technica
Similarly, the company claimed that there was more than 200GB of bandwidth within the system. Again, the number had no context or clarification and if rumors are to be believed, it suggests some rather creative accounting: 68 GB main memory bandwidth, 102GB bandwidth to an embedded SRAM buffer for the GPU, and 30GB bandwidth between the CPU and GPU. While that does add u...
HSA HUMMA Coherent Shared Memory
hUMA and Coherent Shared Memory are not the SAME!
CSM is useful for multicore systems whereby they can all share the same location at once, so for example if 1 of the 8 cores changes the information in the memory location the other 7 cores are working using out of date information stored in their cache.
hUMA is basically so the CPU and GPU can share data between each other so the cpu doesnt have to copy the in...
Probably for 5 minutes recording, downloading updates and other minor stuff.

Did someone noticed that DDR3 bandwith is shrinked :

Oh, i forgot! eSRAM can't do read/write operations at the same time so it's not 204 GB/s it's 102 GB/s.

eSRAM is NOT bidirectional and there is no 204 GB/s.
204 GB/s for eSRAM if it is BIDIRECTIONAL, but is not. It can't do read/write operations at the same time so is 102 GB/s. DDR3 bandwith is shrinked from 68 to 56 GB/s :

No, ma1asiah, there is no power boost except GPU minor upclock. DDR3 bandwith is shrinked :

...Wasn't it previously 170.3 Gb/sec (68.3 Gb/sec (8 DDR3) + 102 Gb/sec (32 MB Esram)) and then 196 Gb/sec now 200 Gb/sec.....nice...
You are just like MS, combine all numbers. You can't add numbers like that. eSRAM is not bidirectional and bandwith is not ...
@PFFT
No, it's not exklusive to Windows or XO. Who knows if XO at all has DX 11.2
Link by ma1asiah is old news. This is new from presentation ( on the top of the picture )

I see the DDR3 bandwith is shrinked from 68 GB/s to 56 GB/s

Well, on GAF, they who watched the presentation said that it was shown a slide whith OpenGL 4.4 and DX 11.2 for PS4.
You know what MS listed on their presentation? This :
The PS4 GPU is listed like a DX 11.2+ and OpenGL 4.4 compatible... the Xbox One a DX 11.1+.
+ OpenGL 4.4 for PS4. Fuck yea! So, DX 11.2 is not exclusive for XO, or maybe doesn't exist on XO.
Or this from tweeter :
Msoft XBox One supports shared coherent memory between 8 AMD Jaguar cores and DX 11.1+ GPU like @hsafoundation
Machinarium is a great flash point and click adventure. Highly recommended.
Not interested.
It's a about cloud shit again, right?
I think the real reason is that BF4 is cross-gen title. Look, guys, DICE is developing game for 5 fucking platforms, because of that, game suffer for porting on another platforms. I wish that PS3/X360 version is never happen. But EA wants money and it must be on as many platform as possible. To bad it is not on 3 platforms : XO/PS4/PC. Results will be better.
They are balancing recoil for KZ MP, don't worry. GG confirmed it.
"...Only complaint though is, like all KZ games, the gameplay looks way too heavy-feeling. I wish is were just a tad more agile and tactical, similar to BF controls.
The GRAPHICS are simply stunning, but the control responsiveness looks a litttttle too heavy and lethargic..."
NO! We don't want another COD control felling. We don't want for KZ to be a fact-paced shooter. Tweet ftom GG :

It is not a false information. Of course AMD will not bash Sony or AMD or admit which one is better. hUMA information leaked accidentally from one of AMD's employee 2 weeks ago. So, PS4 has hUMA. Like it or not.
