Retrocompatibility is a feature that hits hundreds of games or thounsends if done properly, there are 500+ retro games games on Xbox One, and they all improve uppon the original, it's like free remasters, and it's a fantastic job well done, a pity it aint got all the xbox 360 titles (2000++ and those 3400+ self published).

I know that the number of users account for more then one system, that's 3 systems for MS and 4 systems to Sony, you don't need a MS account to play Minecraft on Android, IOS and Switch (you can use it for cross platform gameplay but its not mandatory).

Consoles are a close system, they can charge what ever them want, they only have one store you either pay it or dont pay it, simple as that, while on PC, you have a ton of stores, and can put the game in any store you want depending on the deal, two diferent worlds.

I played more then 100 games last year on Xbox One X, finished 70+, before that I was only playing an average 20 games on it and finishing about 10.
That's good, just bring all Xbox 360 Japanese games to Xbox One by retro-compatibility (my beloved shoot em ups from 360), and bring some more.

Windows is a Platform, Steam and Epic are mere stores (apps) and nothing more.
