The show is doing it's job pretty good, talks about new games for Xbox, new games for game pass, new games from Microsoft (the biggest coverage to MS games is in this show), so yes they are doing the job right by talking about all Xbox.
Could it be better!? Yes it could, but this is complemented by the "This Week on Xbox", they have two shows, and they must show content in the two of them, and they are the only ones doing it, no other is doing it.

Yet they are bringing the Yakusa to Steam were the "code" is the same as Xbox, meaning a port would be crazy fast and cheap, I guess it's Sega's loss, better sell a few (considering Xbox fan base for that sort of game) then sell none, but then again the financial reports show just how stupid Sega is.
Yes, improvements on the Windows Store are always welcome and people will enjoy it, specialy if they want to make them self's relevent in PC Gaming.
I wouldn't have your hopes to high, since they are yet to convince other major developers to release games on the Windows Store. I believe they will improvet it (since it's so bad at this point) but they will never be able to manage as many games as on the Xbox, since Windows as a ton of Stores to buy games from while Xbox as only one Store.
As long as steam exists Game Pass will never truly came trough on PC, since 90% of game pass games are on steam and not windows store.
Why would you buy a Playstation when you get PSN Now on PC, were all Sony games will be sooner or latter.
