Mass Effect 2 is a shooter RPG while Uncharted and Gears are third person shooters so that means, Uncharted and Gears have the same audience while Mass Effect have a different audience. Not all gamers who liked Gears should also like Uncharted and vis versa, but you can't say that they don't share the same audience. Both games play the same, they are shooters, both have cover system, linear experiences and etc.
Gears of War games and Uncharted games have lots of similarities: Shooting, cover system and much more. While there are things that differentiate them apart, they both play the same.

But the campaign mode was short, though still a good game.
Now you can find some great games to download from the PSN like Flower and Fat Princess.
Sony must keep adding more classic games. More PS1 and PS2 games for download.
why I bought my Xbox 360 was for playing RPGs. Good news to hear that Microsoft is encouraging Japanese devs in making more RPG for Xbox360.
The service is very promising, but I agree that they must lower the prices for the service to be very successful.
It's one of the under appreciated gems this gen.
I will tell you why square-enix RPGs didn't sell that well on xbox 360:
First of all, can you give me a JRPG from Square on Xbox 360 that has an average of 80 on metacritic? No.
So, the first reason is JRPGs this generation from Square weren't of high quality. Second reason is JRPGs aren't selling good in Japan or any region this gen. Of course FF XIII is going to sell like hot cakes in Japan, even if Square release it on N64.

But I think the story of the first game was better and the decisions you make in the first Mass Effect were more powerful. It's like the second Lord of the Ring movie while it was good, it was never as good as the first or the third ones.
