Yeah graphics aren't everything, I can't count the amount of times I've been taken in with pretty visuals, but the gameplay just let me down. If the cars handle well, and the Ai is good, then we have a solid racer, let one of those slip and it's trouble
Timed DLC is bad for gamers, but exclusive betas are just awful. Surely you want as many people testing it as possible. The fact battlefield had an exclusive one is even worse, given the state of their last two games

A Netflix style subscription is the only way I can see it succeeding. Otherwise it'd just be cheaper to buy the games and play them without any latency

Snap (I rarely use this, but know some that do!), the Skype was very impressive the one time I used it, the more accessible dedicated servers (the is a huge advantage imo), frequent updates, no maintenance downtime (the psn updates are always at the worst time in GMT!).
There's also the stronger wifi adapter, but that's likely to be revised.
