I think there's space for remakes because 2 reasons:
1. People that played that games in the past are now older and have more money. These people want to emulate those times.
2. There's a new generation of players that did not played those games. Remaking a hit from the past is safer and cheaper than trying something new.
I don't think so. When you think to remaster a game you pick just the best games from an era to do that. Obviously, we get a sensation that games were better because we remaster only the best games.
But in 10 or 15 years from now some company will remaster games like The Witcher 3, Mario Odyssey, Zelda BotW, God of War, Final Fantasy XVI or some other really good games from this era and people will say that the past was better.
It's just the selec...
Both are bloated.
Yes, but that's just the business side. Console wars refers to a social phenomenon too. Videogames are a product that a lot of people put a lot of sentiments on it. Most people identity themselves as gamers. It's only a few products have this effect. Almost anyone call themselves "fooders", "electriciters" or "watchers" even consuming those products.
When we talk about the social aspect of console wars we are talking about the central p...
He is crapping in Activision to move the goalpost and protect Sony.
Why? Sony can remaster the game and sell for $70 again. There's no logical reason for a company do that.
It is. You charge the maximum you can. If you have a fan base willing to pay there's no reason to not rip them off. Apple, Nintendo and Sony are perfect examples of that.
Yes. It's just business.
Yeah. That's why I believe in some random guys over obscure websites with anime or games profile pictures. Those people are worth my trust.
If their fans are willing to pay more, why not? Fidelity come with benefits to the company and some suffering to the customer.
I'm always entertained when spoiled gamers discover capitalism.
Yes. I want to read dozens of opinions about it from people inside the industry.
I'm already full of the hundreds of comments from entitled gamers.
I think VI and IX are my all time favorites.
Really unexpected and full of creativity.
Sempre tem o babaquinha.
The question is how many games are cpu limited? Most games are still cross gen and have that jaguar cpu as target. So the current consoles don't have any problem running them.
Games thar are gpu limited can be adjusted to exchange quality for frames.
Maybe Xbox Studios are the firsts crossing the line to reach the limits of the 5 years old cpu of ps5 and Xbox series.
When Sony released a true current gen game, with big systems, phisics, AI, simulation and persis...
PS5, Xbox Series S and X have almost the same outdated CPU.
I've got 76 down votes because I said it was 30 fps because console cpus are already struggling.

Now those people need to threat John, because he must be wrong and fanboys right.
It's not ideal, but it's what the cpu of these consoles are capable of. In a good pc I can't see any problem for this game running at 60fps or more.
Consoles have their limitations and CPU is always an issue.
I'd like to see NeoGeo games.
