Different games. But I think most people that are engaged on games in internet (active forums users, for instance) are really sensible to how other people talk about the game, the hype, the "general concensus". A lot of these engaged gamers don't want to be on minority side of things. One game does not make another better or worse. But the opinion of others can make that. And it's a little bit sad that a personal experience is so much dependent on others validation for some....

People enjoy alcohol, drugs and a lot of stuff. But most people that buy an expensive controller are way beyond enjoying games and are truly addicted. When something become the thing you most spend time everyday after sleeping, that's an addiction.
You can say it's an escapism or something like it and it's true. But it's an addiction nonetheless. Like other addiction those who use it tend to deny they are dependent.

I just don't pretend that games are not an addiction.

Of course, those willing to pay a lot of money for a controller are those that are deeper in addiction and dependence.

Well, if that's the only way to play that game on that platform, I don't know why, in a capitalist system where even products with zero marginal costs are used for profit, they should charge too much less.

If you sell, let's say an old version of Pac-Man is understandable that you shouldn't ask for full price. But if your game is a still modern one or at least a collection of 3 or more aging games, I think it's fair to charge $50, $60 or $70 in today'...

Turn based can be good, but it's not superior as a lot of people say.

Seems like one. Always with the Mos most generic answers. No relevant or polemic opinion.

I like your comments here. You're like the default gamer. It's like chatgpt of comments.

It is, but in capitalism the future is better for corporations not consumers.

It's a ps360 game. Consoles from 2005/2006.

I don't understand how this can be approved as related to games, but a developer talking about politics in its own game is off topic.

I came to say that. I think there are only two ways of dealing with this in games: or the missions give you good itens, making vendor useless like Wrpg, or missions give you money to buy itens from vendors, adding a useless step to the process. Both solutions are bad.

People like to think that others are bad, my greed and my support for a system that is based in greed is moral and beautiful.

Yeah... We live in an era that success and happiness are measured by money and only money. Greed for us is the most noble feeling, we must do anything that the current law allow to get the most money from the value produced by other people. Someone that is giving something that could make him/her richer is unthinkable for our capitalist culture. He/she should think only in the money, anything different is stupid and lack of greed. We like greed, but not with this name. We use euphemisms to co...

I have interest. My interest is the end of these japanese games and publishers that promote incest, rape and misogyny.

Great news.

Game news have changed to adapt to how most gamers consume information. Less and less people are able and willing to read a long article, they are always wanting to know first not better. My point is that gamers are worse consumers not the media.

So, generic by design but still generic.

927d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Generic.

I don't think so. For me it's some kind of selective memory. There's a lot more genres and options nowadays and series that are as good as or even better than those.

See, we can argue that maybe the output from big studios have slowed down a lot and some of the greats from the past are not so great anymore. We have less and worse resident evil? Maybe yes. But we have amazing games like the witcher, Horizon or God of War.

If we consider the ind...
