I still don't see why people do not understand this. it is a digital magazine published by Future. Its like getting Official Playstation Magazine on your PS3. Its not published by sony, just presented by them. Its a MAGAZINE.
I bought this first one so I could get into the Socom Beta for sure. However, I am NOT impressed. Will not be purchasing again (unless there is one with Little Big Planet Beta).

Very underwhelming demo. Graphics are very nice, but something just feels . . . . I dunno, old? I think its because I am still coming off my COD4 high.
And at comment above me. I know what you mean. There are so many games I want coming out this year that I want I have to pick and choose what I buy. NG2, MGS4, Socom, LBP, Resistance 2, GEOW2, Rock Band 2, Fallout 3.

I can see it now . . . millions of PS3 owners foaming at the mouth rushing to download in game XMB. It's finally downloaded! They boot up a game and pull up the XMB in game! And then, they exit the game, and begin to wonder why they made such a big deal about it all along.
It's official. Nintendo has completely lost touch touch with its original fanbase. The same fanbase that has supported them for all these years.
So since casuals wouldn't know how to work a hard drive, everyone who wants one must be a gaming geek? Wow.

I am not so sure I buy into this. Wasn't the PSP extremely hard to find all Christmas? Doesn't it still sell really well? I though it was doing a bang up job in Japan with monster hunter. I am not a portable fan, but I don't see how that constitutes failure or that it needs to pick up sales. You just can't compare ANYTHING to DS.

Well you should probably hold off then. It seems you just downright don't like what Sony does. What do you need upscaled so bad from 720p to 1080i? you need output in 5.1 and stereo at same time? Did you miss uncharter and heavenly sword and resistance. And you mentioned two GIANT games coming up, little big planet and mgs4. Socom and Resistance coming out too!
Like I said earlier. Just don't buy it.
Man, I don't know about you but i have loved using the ps3. There has been a ton of psn content. The fact that I have a lot left to look foward to is also great.
Its adding themes and gamerpics. Should this even be considered an update? I know everyone says XBL gets updated all the time, but its usually with crap like this. I want some free themes and pics that ARENT from Doritos or Gamestop.

There isn't even anything specialy about this PS3 is there? It's not gun metal. Why not just get a ps3 and mgs4?
I hate DBZ and played this demo through 3 times (both battles) on my 360. I don't know what made me like it so much. May be I think the combat is more in depth than it actually is.

This makes no sense for MS. They have to keep getting cheaper and cheaper to beat Sony, not more expensive. There isn't much of a reason for Blu Ray in the 360 if none of the games are ever going to be on the format.
