He said "day 1" so...
You should sell your PC for a motorcycle.
Not on XBO.
Envy?
Of course. HQ does not sell the games, but the manufacture, distribution and retail...
I agree with you. Creating simple content is easy, but creating a complete game that catches the attention of a player for days is expensive; requires a lot of dedication and time from a team that has trained to have the knowledge to do so. It is fair and desirable that they receive from the effort expended. Because without this financial return nobody will develop content at a professional level.
Cancelations. It is better for gamers.
They are not talking about profitability or the size of the VR game market as a whole but just that the market in PS is bigger than the rest combined. VR will always be a niche market and no one has tried to convince you otherwise.
Sony will do it on PS5, as everyone already knows. For now, it's just a test.
The pool players on PS4 could probably be bigger than the rest combined. But choosing to alienate PS4 from CP assures me that it will not get my money.
Congratulations to the PSVR.
But dammit, I really wanted PSVR2 now. I don't think it's the best strategy to launch PS5 and PSVR2 at the same time, there will be two purchases combined. Sony should launch PSVR2 now and make it compatible with PS4. When the PS5 comes out, we'll have a fair amount of HMD available.
That's why Switch's exclusive sell well.
... and more expensive.
😴
Sony will likely support the PS4 for 10 years, as they did with all other PlayStations.
This article uses a stupid clickbait headline. It don't deserve a click.
It's as if Microsoft had done all the right moves and Sony did the opposite. Soon they will ask "How did the PlayStation dominate this generation with so few and low scored games?"
Switch competes in a category of itself, the handhelds. I hope we have a competition in that category someday.
@Nyxus
If PS5 will be BC with PS4 why Death Stranding needs to be ported?
Microsoft, stop trying to be Sony.
