You either have a bad memory or would buy ocean front property in Iowa. I bought an 8800GTS and C2D system for about 1,200 a year ago. PC gaming is about cutting edge technology and lots of frames per second at very high resolution. I am sure COD4 looks good at 1280x600 with 2x Anti Aliasing but it looks much better at 1920x1280 with 2x Anti aliasing and 4x astrotopic filtering with 31 other players.
WOW! This game looks better everytime I see it.
I remember playing GTA multiplayer over an IPX network. I still consider it one of my favorite multiplayer experiences to date.

They still didn't mention if the mouse and keyboard is dumbed down to the controller level. Does the speed of your mouse movement reflect how fast your point of view changes or is the speed constant like with the controller.
COD4 is the best multiplayer FPS I have ever played. Bioshock was very enjoyable but doesn't really have the replay value COD4 has.
Good thing BR will be web enabled, since they can't fit all the extras crap on that colossal f*@king disc.

What? Games are teaching children how to kill? How did all the other generations of humanity manage to get so much killing done with out the violence simulators we have today? I mean, how were we able to kill all those people in WWII without proper simulation training? I guess they were the greatest generation. Why don't they make a game that simulates taking out all the people that want to censor violent video games. Maybe that would shut them up. {:D)
Such a let down. The game looks like its running at 1024x768 and the only time you get decent textures and high polygon models is during the chats. I should of watched more gameplay videos. Then maybe I wouldn't have purchased the game.
You shouldn't confuse brightness and contrast with the lack of High Dynamic Range lighting. It is obviously lacking on the PS3 version

I think 32" is the sweet spot for 360. I use to have a 32" LCD and original 360 connected via vga cable. I have sinced upgraded to an elite and 47" LCD and 55" Plasma. On the bigger screens the short-comings are magnified. If you notice things like lack of anti-aliasing and low texture resolution.
