That's true to an extent. What made Metal Gear great is you could play it how you wanted. The playstyle was up to you, stealth or action or both. If Hitman does the same the game will be a refreshing break from linearity.

Alan Wake would of had more life, if it was designed as n open world game. Everyone is basing it off the world we got in a linear game. Ultimately it was dumbed down.
