I'm glad they decided to go back to the way things were. I'd still not be able to go, haha, but I like remembering the way E3 used to be.
Nice. I definitely want to see more Elites. I can't wait to give Recon a try. Halo 3, much as I love to play it, has gotten a bit stale.
I acknowledge the fact that Metacritic is "the source" for aggregate reviews, but in the larger scale of things, this is nothing more than a small ripple in a pond. LittleBigPlanet will sell no matter what kinds of reviews it gets. No matter what 360 fanboys, Wii fanboys, or anyone else has to say about it. Bringing a score down on a website is a childish and inane way to express displeasure about a game you may or may not have played before.
I'm not trying to bash the game, good lord. I just said I hadn't gotten to play it yet. But I do know that there are lot of people out there who will complain to the bitter end that once the story is finished for them, they "can't find anything else to do." You and I know there are people like that, and those very people will be the only ones to critique this game because they're so damn picky.
I've had no firsthand experience with LBP yet, but it does look fun. I knew it was going to get great reviews from the get-go, but I can imagine the lack of good user-created content presenting a problem for those who don't want to make it themselves.
I had no idea the original Gears was banned as well. That's strange. I wish everyone would get a chance to experience it if they wished to.
I get teary-eyed thinking about the microwave oven scene in MGS4 as well ;_;

Yeah, if I hadn't been initially excited and purchased the Wii when I did, I probably wouldn't even have one right now or want to have one.
Seems MS is scraping the bottom of the barrel to justify their reasoning for including avatars in the new Xbox experience. Not that anyone is particularly worried about who copied who. It's always the guilty parties who are the quickest to defend themselves.
It's a shame we have to wait that long! I thoroughly enjoyed the first No More Heroes. Hopefully the sequel sells better.
Wow, if MGS4 came to the 360 that would knock out my biggest reason to buy a PS3, aside from just wanting one to have it. It'd certainly be more convenient, but it'd be a little strange playing on a non-Sony console for once.
