Thinking about Lords of the Fallen for $25. Gonna have to look into what people think of that game.
*Off to do some research*
I heard it was great too, but then I watched an IGN Game-Scoop and one of the guys spoiled the ending (Brian Altano I think his name was).
I don't understand how you can be a gaming journalist, provide content to hundreds of thousands of people on the web and straight up spoil a game in an unrelated "Game of the Generation" consideration episode. He went on in this big rant when they brought up Journey and spoiled how the game ended. He "justified" it ...
Yeah, maybe Rockstar will just take notes and see that taking all the time and effort to make it "impossible" to mod was all a waste.
This could result in one of two things:
1. Rockstar doesn't waste their time blocking mods on their next PC game.
2. Rockstar doesn't make their next games available on PC.
I mean, they obviously made it difficult for a reason. That reason, I assume, is so you can't mo...
Warner Brother publishes Mortal Kombat X.
Warner Brother publishes The Witcher 3.
Warner Brother publishes Batman Arkham Knight.
Until Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight release, we will not know if this is the developer (Netherrealm) or the Publisher (Warner Brothers) being greedy.
Right now, I won't be surprised if Witcher 3 supports the same kind of "shortcut" consumables that are asked to be paid for. If that ha...

Isn't The Witcher 3 published by Warner Brother's too?
I truly hope this is specific to Netherrealm studios and it's not Warner Brothers (their publisher) forcing their hand.
We'll see if it's the case of "greedy developer," or greedy publisher when Batman and Witcher release. If Witcher even offers any type of micro-transactions CD:PR will have to eat a lot of crow (since they've painted this kind of DLC option as "bad&...
@Prince-Ali,
I'm not arguing that SW:BF will outsell COD or GTA. All I'm saying is that I believe the trailer is going to generate a lot of "hype" even outside the gaming community. People love Star Wars.
The trailer will generate an insane amount of views.
Star Wars isn't as popular as GTA or COD?
I'm not so sure about that. I know there are people out there that will buy a PS4/XB1/PC and a copy of this game even though they're not a "gamer." Star War fans are everywhere and they're extremely loyal.
I'm betting they're accurate in saying that it will "break the internet." Unlike Call of Duty or GTA V, almost EVERY media outlet will pick up this trailer and spread it l...
Wait... So the author just turned 21, got a 360 and 2 games that released in 2005/2006 and then decided to write an article titled, "When 'Awesome' Games aren't Enough ANYMORE." Anymore? Most people played those games when they launched...
I HAD to check the date of the article, and it says 2015. Surely the author wrote this way back in the day? Why are they talking about a mediocre 10 year old game (Condemned)?
Get with the times...
here is the evidence that this kind of "marketing" works.

huh?
If you have a job and want a PS4 or XB1 but cannot afford one, I suggest that you manage your money better.
Hopefully Rainbow Six releases this fall. Maybe my friends will flock to that and I will truly get to skip COD without being pressured into getting it because every friend and family member plays it.
Cod isn't a terrible game. I just can't see how people can play games like Ghost and AW for 5+ days online and still find it enjoyable. In the past 2 games, I've been bored to tears just trying to make it to first prestige.
we've seen nothing of Black Ops 3. As far as we know, it could still be the same exo-suit.. It could also be an exact opposite of AW. We don't know anything as of yet.
If you thought Treyarch was the best COD developer before this announcement, then your comment is okay. But, if you're claiming Treyarch is the best COD developer because of this announcement (now), that's odd.
if it's two season passes where the cost is split, then that's awesome.
Example: MP maps $25, Zombie Maps $25.
I only bought the DLC in Black Ops for Zombies. If I was playing online multiplayer, I would delete most the DLC. I know there are people out there opposite as me, bought for the Multiplayer and never touched zombies.
If its $50 for multiplayer and $50 for zombies, I'd be intrigued to see how well it would sell. If it sel...
Now list the AAA retail games Microsoft has released during those months and I'll accept your argument.
At least I have an option on my Playstation. I haven't even thought about buying an exclusive for my XB1 since MCC. Wanna know why? Because I have no choice.
I've had the opportunity over the past 6 months to weigh the pros and cons of trying games like The Order, DriveClub, Little Big Planet 3 and Bloodborne. With Microsoft there is nothing the...
I have the game Pre-ordered on PSN (no refunds where I'm at), so it's suffice to say that I already bought the game.
IMO, CDPR should go into hiding until they actually have something to show. The game looks fantastic (IGN is doing an "IGN" First this month), but I'm so tired of hearing about the length.
Length can not only be inflated or exaggerated, but it also means diddly squat if the majority of people only have fun "X" ou...
Long drought?
Little Big Planet 3 and Driveclub in October/November-ish on to The Order in February, Bloodborne in March and Until Dawn in June...
I honestly don't see how any one can consider that a "drought" in the exclusive "AAA" department.
I'm going off memory, so correct me if I'm wrong. Please help me fill in the Blank: Sunset Overdrive (september ?), Forza Horizon 2 (October ?), Halo MCC (November) and...
"Until Dawn" in just a few months.
both published by EA....
