They bought the company producing 3DV tech in something like 7 million which is a hell lot cheaper than making games..
To be frank, I didn't expect this game to even hit 500K, but it's doing surprisingly well for a game that is so out of the usual 'shooter' genre. I guess people were kind of waiting for the reviews and then decided to jump in and after the 9s score, even I was pulled in.. Great game and great style.

If Sony comes out and shows off a new 3D interface like Minority report implemented using Move, then I will definitely be sold. I will probably end up buying move eventually, but I would REALLY LOVE to see Sony implement stuff with the user interface... That's probably the only thing I find getting 'Boring' on my PS3.

GOW is GOW. No game can touch it in the action genre at least nothing in the market can. The graphic, production value, gameplay, story, KRATOS everything is so out of this world.
It's on the 360 as well Einstein. I don't necessarily agree with the score as well, it's a solid 8.5 in my books. The game is INSANE fun and by INSANE I mean really over the top. The Map is so huge it will even give GTA:SA+AC2 put together an inferiority complex and it takes a looooooooong time to complete the game meaning insane re playability... The graphics surprisingly are great as well for an open world game. In fact it's probably one of the better looking open world game along with AC2....
You know a console is doing well when people argue which of it's exclusive game sets the benchmark :)
Both GOW3 and UC2 can co-exist as my best PS3 games (even MGS4).
The resolution is 576P which is like the lowest form of Sub-HD. I doubt it's as crisp as the PC version.
LMAO you can see the irony in the title... both games are Sub-HD (MGS4 is 1024x768)!!! But MGS4 looks a lot better. In fact I still believe a few levels of MGS4 look on par with UC2.
But as a game, MGS4 is the real benchmark.

Well for starters, even during the start of the game when Kratos kills poseidon and meets Zeus and Zeus goes ballistic and zaps him to hell, why couldn't he do it a few seconds back when Kratos ripped Poseidon's eye balls out? Not a big plot hole, but still some flaw there. Also, the power he (Zeus) then possessed was incredible, but isn't shown in the last fight.
Another aspect is the Gaia killing... Kratos killed Gaia and somehow she retur...
So all of them just whine about the fact that they can't stomach why Kratos is so angry and is a 1D character.. Talk about nit picking.

Man whatever you guys think I personally feel most levels of God Of War 3 look CGI quality. Ya even better than UC2 (especially the demo part now in the game... They upped the lighting engine to a whole new level and the Hades and Poseidon fight). Alan Wake looks great and I leave it at that.
But for me right now GOW3 has the crown.
