I got this game for Free from a friend on the PS3 and I am still weary to play it lol. I played the demo, but just couldn't get into the cheezy music and animations...

On topic, I heard LBP2 was using the GOW3 lighting engine. Great to read it's gonna use MLAA technique. Gosh I hope KZ3 uses the same as well in fact all Sony first party should use it, it gives a much nicer and consistent picture. Also great to hear that all the previous LBP1 levels will also get the graphical updates with MLAA...

Not to forget the sales PS3 will rake up in Japan especially during the last Quarter in the holiday season. Sony expects 15 million PS3s to be sold this fiscal year, so there is definitely a price drop down the line.. Last year at this time, people laughed at Sony when they said that 13 million PS3s will be sold by the end of 2009 fiscal... Those people are eating crow now.
And here is the real deal... PS3 still is at 299$ which is the launch price of the PS2.. And the market...
RPGs aren't really popular on the 360. Also, ME1 although being critically acclaimed, never really broke any sales record, so it isn't much of a shocker that ME2 didn't burn the charts....
GOW3 on the other hand was bound to sale well judging by the popularity of the previous games and hype associated. Also judging that PS3 has a smaller install base in NA compared to the 360, it's a great achievement.

Dude I live in India and it's the same here (if you go officially)... Get it for like 2500 bucks (same as 60$), but on ebay I get the same game for half the price (obviously not new releases). Also at a few places that import, I get the game at a lower price.... All about searching for the right people.
