But I think its staff is filled with adults who received little or very little attention as children. So they are filling that void in their life by having a little backwater fail blog that nobody cares about or takes seriously. This is just an episode they're having, craving some attention so they're calling out N4G and posting it on N4G because it's the only way they can get hits.

They make it sound as though the individuals game sold that much, as if a few people were each taking home that much. But with this it shows they actually meant all the top sellers combined.

That's a pretty gross overestimate, the service just reached 200 not too long ago.

It came out around the holidays, it was a fireplace that also played Christmas songs, I think.
They can, but only if they promote your game and heavily. They'd have to promote your game quite a lot to take that extra 30% more (they take 30% right off the bat). So, if Microsoft decided to take 60% of your revenue they'd be bringing you a ton of sales that would make it worth while. They tell us all this in the FAQs, this isn't something new.
