If you're talking about the bubble shield you have to find it. Equipment must be found on the map. And the bubble shield lasts for 20 seconds.

The only ONLY maps they are confident that have enough polish for the public to see are the three in public beta. Frankie stated all the others were still very much being worked on. That's why the water sky and textures arn't that great. The final product will look like the Announcment trailer, and possibly better said Frankie.
