it doesn't need a demo. watch some vids and read the reviews and play your friend's ps3. and it's only $40. or just rent it. sheesh. i'm tired of all the demo beggars.
goldeneye changed the fps scene on consoles forever. turok on n64 did a pretty good job as well. so many great and amazing ideas in those two games alone.
and free radical still makes quality games. their timesplitter series is always under rated, but are some great games. i'm sure their next-gen timesplitters will be just as good.
that's the point then isn't it. they make it for one system, and then they are spread thin trying to port it to 6-8 other systems. so instead of putting the time and money into making a quality product for each system, they dev it on their "bread and butter" console and leave the rest out there to just deal with the crappy ports.
wow, these pics make me remember my n64. i need to drag that out of the closet and play goldeneye again soon...
the only thing i find odd is that the same mag gave calling all cars an 8.0, yet they give warhawk a 6.5. i wonder what changed since the calling all cars review? perhaps the editor??
well, i wouldn't say he's attacking bioshock directly. he really just attacks everything that take2 publishes. he hates them cos they made him settle with them a few months back and he can't sue them anymore or something like that. so for every game they publish, he will create a public rant about it.
gosh lars. at it again. brings back memories of "napster bad!!!" hahah. i loved those flash vids.
i was just going to say i hope they show some info on golden axe...
what has failed to be said is that AI is actual code written by the developer. it has nothing to do with the system. i mean, how many games come out for the pc that you have played and some have horrible AI and some don't. pc is the same "platform" accross the board. the only difference is the software that is written for it.
to say that the ps3 or wii can't handle certain GFX or AI just means that they won't code it or they don't know how to. there is an obvious lack...
not very exciting, but at least there's co-op. worth a rental.
i can think of alot more reasons why i don't need it. after what ea did to ncaa football 08, why would i expect madden to be any better. they need to revamp the series before i buy their game again.
yeah, there was some kind of recall for the power cord. i wonder if this accident *sparked* the recall. pun intended.
money talks for sure.
and too bad that rockstar who supported gta so well on the playstation consoles would in a way turn their backs on what made them so successful and popular to begin with. i wouldn't call it selling out, because it's business, but talk about a spit in the face...
wow, the boat pic is cool. i hope we get to drive boats like that across the harbor!
wow, that was hard to read. couldn't get through it all. and i would hardly consider one guy's supposed experience trying to demo a game as news, but w/e.
can't wait for this game! only 2 months left to wait =(
as much as i wanted to watch that, i didn't! don't want to spoil anything!
wow, this sucks. was really looking forward to online co-op. i mean, they have to have unlimited resources from ms at this point. can't they throw some more devs over to them to get this done??
well, rumble would make most sense with a game like motorstorm. maybe the recent motorstorm updates added rumble. i guess we'll see...
eric bana anyone?
