I don't know, a good pair of pants can be a gamechanger.
bubble for Yi-Long. Don't know who is disagreeing. Everything he says is absolutely spot-on.
true, but it's not bad on its own merits.
I respectfully disagree Grave. I thought the gameplay advances (boosting, double-jumping) were well-implemented and the new weapon types and perks gave the game a fresh feeling. At the least, this will be an exciting change from the drudge of more recent CODs.
Plus, with the pro (in the official multiplayer trailer) playing it, you could really see the potential for better players to reinvent themselves in this franchise.
Having grown bored with COD, hopefully this is the game that kickstarts the franchise again. With the well-implemented gameplay advances and loads of new weapon styles/perks I'm actually excited about this one.
I am actually really looking forward to this new COD. The tech and gameplay advances are refreshing and (more importantly) seem well-implemented in-game.
disagree sergons. And this is from someone who's grown tired of COD. Lots of interesting new game mechanics that actually seem like they work intuitively in-game. This combined with the actual multiplayer trailer that shows off a lot more of the gadgets/perks/moves and is being played by a pro are selling me on this newest iteration of COD.
the implementation and fluidity of control looks so much better than in Crysis
Best games right now are indies, which I have no problem with...
- Rogue Legacy
- Steamworld Dig
- Transistor
- Child of Light (multi)
Worth price of admission in my mind!
I would sorta agree on blockbusters, but who cares about them when the indies are so good?
... talk about only getting your information from the "news" channel that shall not be named.
Best game I've played all year. And that includes gems like FTL (mobile), SteamWorld Dig (PS4), and Transistor (PS4).
So, I guess the Halo and Gears of War series aren't XBox exclusive because they came to PC??
While I understand #1 and YES there are certainly many games where this has led to annoying characters, I think the more whimsical, fantastic, child-like settings inherent to most JRPGs naturally lend themselves to a Disney-esque approach replete with your typical child/teen band of protagonists. Reality is the last thing these games are shooting for and the sense of wonderment in games like Chrono Trigger are best viewed through a youngster's eyes. As kids (or nostalgic man-children), it...
i want an army of all guys who hip-fire pistols
oh haha, guess i need to play around with the game more.
World of Warcraft: Metal Arms
I TOTALLY agree with you on single-player, but multi-player was amazing (and that's where I'm spending a majority of my time anyway). Great change of pace from the Battlefields and CoDs.
i think a lot of people are in the same boat as you. Hopefully, this iteration of CoD brings people who have become disillusioned by the franchise back into the fold.
On a sidenote, a new MAG on next-gen hardware would be awesome. I thought last-gen's hardware held it back because of the scope of the battles.
...then you missed a lot of the new gameplay mechanics. I'll agree the in-game pacing and flow seem very CoD, but the gameplay could be intriguing (despite how much I've become apathetic to CoD, the general core shooting mechanic is pretty good)
Magikarp plzzzz
