its unfortunate that theres no ps2 backwards compatibility in any of the ps3s out now and starting with the 80gb but i paid 499 for my 80gb BC ps3, 100 less than some, but it really doesnt bother me that people who WAITED until the price was 399 or 299 dont get BC, doesnt bother me at all
these guys arent serious are they? the things not even 3 full years yet
i also thought the ps3 version looked better for the most part especially with the indoor lighting, but where the 360 had it beat was were those direct sunlight shots outside, those looked better on the 360

princesses keep getting lost in space
i hope they fix this, sometimes when people bring her on the catapult or fall of the map with her, she disappears from the game and one team is left looking for their princess
Are any of us really surprised that someone who's developed for PC's his entire career is having more success on a console that has a similar pc-development-architecture?
the complications of Cell development to non-sony parties is nothing new
is the Xenos more powerful than the RSX? probably, are the Cell and the Xenon similar in power? maybe, the real question is if the Xenon can actually do everything that the Cell can do?
can the xenon render and d...
id be down for it but it would have to have all the controls and gameplay mechanics of san andreas and not gta4 but with graphics on the level of gta4
i would be less for supportive for copy of gta4 that controlled and had the gameplay mechanics of gta4 but only with san andrea's environment and characters
it would have to play like san andreas, but with the physics of gta4 with exception to the car handling
how about they put the patch out first
ive often thought about this but u gotta figure that ps2 sales and whatever profits come with them offset ps3 sales losses, if they only sell ps3s at its current $50(???) loss then its just losses
but then it becomes profit/loss-offset vs market share
i would actually like to see more devs do this in order to see more polished games, but there has to be some kind of compromise here in terms of announce and release, both killzone 2 and alan wake were shown in 2005 and both have a span of over 4 years from official announcement to release
with god of war 3, it was first shown in june 2008 at e3 with a target render and is coming out in march 2010, although im sure theyve been working on it since way before june 2008, the window ...
WOW at that robot with a game system patent, thats some lame stuff in a very funny way
sony and its playstation 3 supercomputer setups, skynet - not if but when
from what i hear, 3 hours isnt uncommon for sony at these, its like 1 hour of actual conference and 2 hours of food and drinks
hopefully somebody asked him his thoughts cause otherwise he needs to shut the **** up
ah, being able to read the controller behind people, i saw that in the 2003 stanford video that dr richard marks did with the ball and butterflies but i didnt even pick up on it at e3-09 when the other guy pulled the arrow from behind his back, very subtle yet impressive touch
any word yet from microsoft on the ability shoot infrared lights through people in order to sense motion behind people? a terrible joke, yeah i know
both have facial recognition, both have (remote) voice recognition
however, the advantage that natal has is the z-depth sensor which uses depth to detect and "interpolate" body motion without the need for objects
sony obviously does motion through the camera but more specifically through the controller which has the advantage in accuracy
- the difference is going to be the software, who's going to come out with more impressive software (and no,...
fake, they didnt buy it and they didnt test it
i didnt read the article thoroughly but i love how they didnt even buy the console to test it out and see if it actually played ps3 (and ps1) games
generally speaking, if you were to take just R&D into account, sales have already covered R&D, which leaves manufacturing costs, however psp has been out almost 5 years and still costs 160 - im no expert but my guess is that it costs far less than that to produce
as for pirating, yeah it prevents sales but every console pirated is still a console sold
its not so much a denial as it is a: we're comfortable with the current price, even if a market share is 7+ million below
it pretty much continues their mantra about focusing on profitability
thank you "ice" team
im sure we'll see something, a lot of people began to call into question the deal between rockstar and sony back in 2007 until sony announced Agent at e3 2009
