@abzdine:I agree it wasn't on the same level of quality when it released. My 2 main problems with the game were the sound issues and the uninspired final boss fight. I think they should've dropped the multiplayer and put those recources in the single player.
However the story was pretty good imo. The new battle system brought more depth to the gameplay and the world weapons and items were nice additions too.

Ehm... yeah they do. Asura's Wrath, Street Fighter x Tekken, Dragon's Dogma, DmC, Lost Planet 3, Remember me or Monster Hunter just to name a few recent ones.

That's true. However bigger parts can be more powerful than smaller parts at any given time. So high-end Tablets will never outperform high-end PCs.
Will they outperform Consoles? Yeah they certainly will at some point. But I think by the time that happens we will be jumping to the next next-gen already.
It's like they got children and don't know what to do with them now. I'm playing games all my life. My dad bought a Sega Genesis when I was 3 years old. But my parents didn't put me infront of it all day. I acquired different hobbies like playing with my friends outside, reading books, playing guitar and many more over time. Parents should just show their kids that different kind of thing can be fun. Do they expect the children to learn about life by themselves?
I still don't know why everyone had problems with that section. I swear I played on 1.0 and only died once. I found out about the difficulties that people had with it later. All I know from looking at some videos is that a lot of people didn't play the game right. They didn't use the items and played it like the other GoW games. If you can adapt to the new battle system and use the items right it's actually not hard at all.
@ziggurcat: I disagree. I played on 1.0 too and I didn't have any difficulty getting through. I died only once in the whole section. The thing is that most people didn't use the items at all or not right and the battle system was a bit more complicated than in previous God of War games. But if you used the items it shouldn't be too hard. Also some of the previous GoW games had much harder sections.
In God of War Ascension there was a section which according to some people was too hard. I think it got patched too. They really should stop that. If they patch it to be easier it should be for the easiest difficulty setting only so that people that want a challenge can still play the game how it was supposed to be.

Knowing that a lot of articles have misleading titles it's common sense that you should be reading more than the title to avoid being misled.

Yeah porting PC games will be pretty easy for the most part. At least as long as the raw power of the PS4 is enough. If you want to use PS4's full potential you'll have to use the GPU for computing tasks which isn't that easy anymore. However GPGPU can be used on PC as well and it won't be easier there either.
Also the PS4 architecture has more tweaks to seperate it from PC hardware than the Xbox One. Since CD Project have mainly worked on PC it probably needs...
Wow. I just tested Guacamelee and I have to say it's excellent so far. That game wasn't on my radar at all. I would've completely missed that without PS+.

Comments like yours are making a discussion about hardware and system aritecture impossible on a platform like n4g. The article itself proves that most people should stop discussing hardware cause it's a very complicated topic most people don't know much about.

I don't fully understand the hype for the graphics. Now before everybody jumps on me hear me out. I do think that the game looks good from what I've seen (which isn't much to be perfectly honest). But what I've seen are spaceships, halls, hallways, people and space.

There has to be a "y" in every crytek game. That's almost as important as the visuals.
But honestly most Crytek games have a lot of potential. And if Todd Papy can help Crytek to get more of it out of the games it's a good thing. Sony Santa Monica have enough talentd people to replace him. I think he can help Crytek to become a better studio.
