@AKR
You are somewhat missing my point, EVEN with the WiiU's poor sales, (12 million vs 55 million combined units between PS4 and XBOX one) If the hardware wasn't significantly weaker then current gen, and it shipped with a pro controller instead of the gamepad, More devs would have ported there games.
IF the WiiU sold 80 million units like the PS3, then you bet Devs would have pumped out games like hotcakes, just as they did for the Wii (101 million units)
"You don't announce it with less than a year before release."
I disagree, right now the internet is buzzing with speculation, leave too much time between the reveal and release and people will without fail start to pick it apart and kill the hype.
I think what they need to do is a reveal this years E3 and release it around November.
"if they don't put enought hardware in it to be able to produce multiplatform games thats running on PS4 ...
Devs/Publishers are going to try and make money where money can be made. Unless they are locked into contracts with certain platforms, the only thing that will stop them from porting games to the NX is however difficult it will be.
The WiiU is significantly different to the PS4, Xbox One and PC. WiiU would have required graphical downgrades and implementation of its vastly different controllers. So the WiiU lost a lot of ports, and developers didnt want to make exclusives for the WiiU...

Its a common behavior of people who have made up there mind to do it, they genuinely become 'happy' as they know it will be over soon, his very last IG photo he shared was extremely old, which means he was looking through a lot of old photos to find it.
If you're referring to the 3ds, it sold 60 million compared to the Wii U's 12 million. Now 60 million isnt as great as the DS's 155 million, but I think phone/app based gaming may be a large reason for that.
If rumors are true, the NX may be some sort of Console + handheld hybrid, separate but connectable.
I'm waiting for the NX, if its backwards compatible I will be buying it Day 1 and ill be getting those games too + Mario Maker.
Who said the IP's were the issue? If its "core fan base" was an issue, the Wii wouldnt have outsold the ps3, ps4, xbox, xbox 360 and the xbox one.
The problem was its lack of 3rd party development and its value for money, the gamepad device jacked the price of the system up. Nintendo should have made the gamepad an optional accessory, dropped the price and just threw in a pro controller, or a new set of Wiimotes for the WiiU, I guarantee it would have sold better.
I love seeing new things like this, Life is strange is a great game and deserves the exposure! And also what Dontnod and Square Enix are doing with the anti bullying campaign, and there actual everyday heroes $10000 scholarship is amazingly generous, and should set a new precedent for other developers/publishers.
I don't get why they would 'reveal' this, aren't WE supposed to find these Easter eggs, isn't that the purpose of an Easter egg?
This looks sick, it reminds me a lot of I Am Legend!
Is that good or bad?
Are they beating a dead horse?
Inb4 Nordic games gets a lawsuit from The Fine Bros for using the word Bros.
Im just hoping they set it in a different time period, Either do a sequel to 2142 or go back to WW2 maybe.
@DarkOcelet
The true number isnt quite known, remember there are oblivious people subscribing at the same time as people unsubscribing.
@feraldrgn
14.08 million
I guess they save money not needing script writers, voice actors, soundtracks, recording studios, motion capture etc
You can not blame the people who pirated the game for a studio being shut down.
Steams financial statement for 2015 saw 3.5 BILLION DOLLARS in sales, pirates are not to blame for a game selling poorly.
BTW steam only accounts for 15% of the global pc games market, pc gaming in 2015 was worth 27 billion dollars.
And again your Lambo analogy is wrong... Games are sold at a price point to appeal to the majority, not too expensive to lose sales, not to ch...
What does third party devs have anything to do with what media there game is published on, Devs send there game to Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft, they print the disk/cartridge then send it back to the publisher for distribution.
Putting the game on a cartridge is actually better for developers as games are now hitting the limits on Blu Ray dual layer disks.
Cartridges also mean faster load times without the need to install the game to the hard drive first
While cart...
17 years later, now that Valve are making money off custom skins, there banning user created skins, FUCK YOU VALVE YOU CORPORATE POS!
As long as the next 2 movies are discounted expansions then I'm fine with a new lego star wars game, Ill be pissed though if each movie is a $60 game.
