oh yea. I'm sorry. I forgot about Sony losing $1.2 Billion from April 2008 - March 2009, and then lost another $438.9 Million from April 2009 - March 2010, for their respective fiscal years. So Sony has yet to see any profits from it's gaming division in a long time and PSP sales are dragging them down even worse...
BTW: M$'s E&D is basically all XBox related, what other products do they offer besides Zune?
EDIT: and I dont know where you ...
I kinda agree and disagree with this article. I must say, owning both PS3 and 360, I do play my 360 more, primarily because of Live, and I love shooter games (having said that, UC2 took up most of my time a year ago).
But coming from, and I'll admit this, I'm more of a 360 gamer than a PS3 gamer, I think in the past 2 years, I believe M$ has really screwed themselves in the gaming industry.
1. Closing multiple first-party studios, and letting a lo...
Then change your title. It should say "Changes That Should Be Made For Fable III". By saying "changes that should be made to Fable III" implies that you've already played the game and have picked out things in a game that a) is not even available for another 22 days and b) no one has even reviewed or played the final version of.
People tend to read titles and then judge off of that, and especially if you come out with a misleading head-line, your bo...
How true indeed. But what would they call it this time? Taliban Zombies?? Cause they can't use Nazi anymore.
Well, if you look at it this way...Nintendo 3DS is a completely different product and new handheld altogether. Unlike the DS,DS Lite, DSi and DSi XL, which all had the same technology (same processor, gpu, etc), except for bigger screens and addition of cameras with the DSi of course.
But the 3DS is a completely different handheld, different processor, more advanced gpu for handhelds, a 3D screen, etc. this will be marketed and treated as the "True" successor to ...
Move support would be awesome. 3D...meh. it would kinda be a hit or miss with that one (I'd say just leave it be, and have the game running at 1080p at 60fps). and with MP, it could be done, but they would need a separate dev team to solely work on the MP and make sure they implement everything that makes InFamous what it stands for, and then properly make it work with online gaming. But Sucker Punch will do what they think is best, and we will all know in 2011...
I Completely agree. I having a hard time trying to know why he even bothered to a review a game he knew he wasn;t going to like, and a series he even admitted is not fond of.
@ DarthJay:
What you wrote is probably one of the most confusing reviews for Halo Reach I've seen to date (And I've read the gamekult.com.fr review).
"I’ve never been a fan of the Halo series. As a matter of fact, up until two weeks ago, I had never even completed a full level of the game."
You realize just by saying that, you lose all credability as a journalist doing an honest and truthful review? Just by immediatel...
he was actually correcting me. I originally had my comment as "delays" and I meant delay. he just pointed it out that I needed to change it, which I did.
omg!!! I can honestly say the delay for this game was well worth the wait. Cannot believe the amount of detail and realism GT5 brings (as did GT3 when PS2 launched). Can't November 2nd come any faster?
Edit: Thanks Sasanova...I have to work on my typing a bit better :D
lol buddy. you need to calm down and chill okay. Firstly, my comment was a joke. I know people on this site seem to take things so seriously and as a "life or death" situation, but I was making a point that this site does not know crap about how to review a game properly.
Secondly, I'm Canadian and am still living in the greatest country on earth. And for the record, my grandfather and all who served in WW2 (even back in 1914 in WWI) Canadian armed forces did...
Judging from the website, this looks like a french gaming website. But who the hell cares what the french say, what do they know about shooting and war games? How to retreat and forfeit? lol
Lame ass review imo.
I agree. I remember waiting in line the night of PS3 launching, getting my 60GB PS3, and just loving all the chrome and the PS2 chip it had for full BC, and it was the ultimate package (without DualShock3 of course). And then when they announced the Slim and what it didn't have and the looks of it were meh, I went thank god I kept my 60GB PS3, cause it is still the better PS3 out there.
But yea, the new 360 S has more to offer, a slightly better design, more vents, less...
I agree with SubZero. Actually, this site was really better back in 2004-2005 days when they were split sites. They used to be 2 divided sites, one for Xbox and one for PlayStation. Then the creator, Dusty I think his name is, decided to combine the sites into one, and basically have an all gaming site with forums and talking everything about gaming (even when they first did this, it was better cause there was no bubble system, no "strict" rules, no agree/disagree crap). That's ...
@ Whoooop:
But you have to understand. The only reason us rabid Halo fans keep coming back to play Halo countless times if for the gameplay. The Gameplay of halo is second to none, so why would any developer, especially Bungie, change something that has brought millions of followers. If they were to change the gameplay of Halo Reach completely, they would probably lose a lot of the core gamers, because it is not the Halo we've been playing the past decade and the style ...
Cause apparently their huge line-up of ultimate exclusive GOTY contender-style games seem to be wearing off, so now they've got nothing to play. So, to make up for this, they go on every Halo Reach/"positive" Xbox 360 news article, and either bash the fanboys for having a long-term interest in a game (Halo) or just bash Xbox cause they hate M$. (Or in N4G case, both)
One more sleep, and then one more campout outside of Best Buy, and then it's mine :D
Yeah, me too. Its a Day 1 for me, and agreed, they do need to change their rating system
nope...the US and UK ones are up already.
@rinkuchal: I would have thought that Office for Mac was under software, ala software integrations, which is still apart of the software division. But even if so, Xbox is still one of the major players when it comes to the E&D department.
@StanLat: I realize all that, and these were reasons why I liked M$ back in 2005 when they laid out their plans/goals for Xbox 360 and the future. My problem just lies with the new direction they've seem to have taken. But now they...
