Bungies good faith fell through with Curse of Osiris. I have enough fun with the game to jump on every week. But they need to really change directions and fast. Otherwise their player base will shrink even more than it is, less than a year in.
Not saying the ps3 was bad at all. I had a launch day ps3 fat, and I loved it. But if you compare the PS2's dominance to the PS3. It was definitely a night and day difference, in terms of sales and market share.
9 million cosoles sold is still great. Sony and the PS4 have really turned things around from the last gen. Lets hope they keep that same mindset going into the next console generation and beyond. PS4 is still going strong with amazing exclusives and third party games coming out this year.
Thank you. At the end of the day Santa Monica Studios hasn't disappointed me yet with any of the GOW games. I've enjoyed playing ever single game, even Ascension. I have complete confidence that it will be the same with this entry. GOW3 was the best looking PS3 game when it came out, I'm not worried about this new game at all.
Finally, this is my most wanted game of 2018, along with Spiderman. Never missed launch day on a single game in the series, this is no exception.

Im not saying anything about my satisfaction with thier performance as a game developer. Im just saying that no matter how you feel about it personally, that doesnt change the fact that Microsoft will not give up on the Xbox Brand. Of course I am critical about their missteps, I felt the same about the PS3 back when I bought one on launch day. But to say that they should or will give up is silly.
Of course they are. Say what you want about their past decisions/missteps, the Xbox division is still very profitable for Microsft.

I honestly believe this great game deserves double the sales. 4 million is a great sales milestone for sure, but it deserves more. With that being said, congrats to Guerilla Games and Sony. HZD was one of best games of 2017 hands down.

Sony set themselves up for that expectation. They really didn't have to stream this PSX if all it was going to be was round table discussions. I enjoyed it myself, but could have waited for a video released after the event. Also why didn't they save the Death Stranding trailer for PSX and not for the Game Awards? That made no sense, it could have debuted before Kojima came out to talk about it.
According to DF the game runs solid on the Switch with some graphical compromises. Overall it's well optimized and worth the wait.

Bayek is definitely one of the better protagonists to come out of the AC franchise. Hopefully they are able to keep the game and story interesting. Origins is definitely a step in the right direction.
Congrats to Nintendo for the success of the Switch. It's an amazing console with great games and a bright future.

Your comments comes off as super defensive. It was a good thing to put out there so no one buys it thinking it's the newer version.
But it's shipped and sold by Amazon. They may have price matched Sony's holiday price. But just as a fyi to anyone thinking about buying it, it's the older model PSVR without the HDR passthrough. That being said, it's a good deal for what you get.
False, we werent given the PC release date for Nioh until one month before it released. So it's defintely possible. Just because you dont want it to happen doesnt mean it wont. Sony doesnt own Crash
