Yeah, I got that iffy feeling from it as well lol. I just thought it was a unique blend of Mirrors Edge + Dead Island. Should be a fun game if the controls are good.
hahahaha, I had to use one of my bubbles just to applaud you on that statement. Hilarious....
"Yeah alot of people tried to make fun of the cloud on the X1. Now that they see the cloud is for real, they are eating crow."
Which I didn't understand why, it was announced during the reveal that every game would have free dedicated servers. I think it was overlooked as some gimmick because so many people were turned off by the initial policies.
Thus why Respawn Entertainment has been able to make such an amazing shooter :-). I think next gen I'm most excited for Destiny, The Order, TitanFall, and that Zombie Parkour game. I forget the name, I think it's Dying Light?. As well as any other interesting titles that gets announced next year, including HEAVY(ier) RAIN hahahaha, the sequel.
"even though it was running on a windows environment"
The irony in that statement, especially on a Sony fan base site like N4G.
Is that so? We were also a month out from finally playing Watch Dogs, you see what happened there....
"Dedicated servers for all mp games is a big deal."
Yes it is, see I like to play games like Bomberman live & Super Puzzle Fighter which uses P2P. Sometimes when I play simple games like that, if the PING connection is low on my end or my friends end, the gameplay is tremendously affected. Excited to know that MS Azure dedicated servers will improve the online gameplay for all game genres on XB1. Only a few more weeks till next gen gaming!
"So yeah you were born yesterday?"
Oh really! So you're wrong, actually it was the SNES/Genesis that had online gaming first. It was a modem called XBAND, I know I had one. Along with Sega Channel through my cable provider, which is being copied by who now? Sony with Gaikai, see innovation isn't just about tech...
Second, Their internet service was called Sega Net, which I only played Phantasy Star, NFL/NBA 2K on there. I didn't say Micr...
Paragraph one your statement reads.....
"It's just being different, for difference sake rather than any real justification"
Then the last paragraph your statement reads.......
"The only justification I can see....."
So which is it? Either the feature is justified or it isn't. You contradicted yourself, and sound like a fanboy with statements as
"Like KINECT it's just being...
@gedden7
"This screams gimmick.. if it was a real feature you would have to use it..
If it wasn't for Nintendo Wii U or the PS Vita they would have never thought to try to do this..
Total gimmick.."
Seriously? By your logic that's equivalent to saying
-"if it wasn't for Microsoft achievements, Sony would have never thought to have trophies"
-"If it wasn...
"No idea's original, there's nothin new under the sun, It's never what you do, but HOW IT'S DONE" - NAS
Sony fanboys say Sony did it first? Congrats to Sony, but who executed it better? Who benefited and profited from motion controls? Which company hasn't turned a profit in years, and which one has?
Understand?
They don't want that space shared, because they know once Microsoft and Apple gets into their ecosystem they will take it over. It will be for the better, but they want to retain what's theirs.
You guys are a joke hahahaha! Now because Sony could only afford an apartment all of a sudden that's better than a giant warehouse? Biggest fanboy crap I ever heard lol. I have practiced architecture for 9 years, 5 years for my bachelors and 3 professionally before I transitioned into the graphic design industry. Obviously! A mansion, giant warehouse, facility, is better than a tiny apartment. I guess in SONY fanboy land, smaller is better. This site is turning into a joke everyday I visi...
Sounds like a hater and a fanboy comment to me. Since when did more square footage become a bad thing huh? Always spinning positive MS news into something negative.
@andrewsqual
"The lime green also destroys 95% of Xbox game box arts"
In my opinion you're viewing it all wrong. You think the green destroys the box art, but my perspective is that it allows Microsoft to differentiate its titles from competitors. Nintendo boxes are Cloud Blue, Sony a Deep/Royal Blue, Microsoft LOUD GREEN hahaha.
I'm just saying I don't find it more aesthetically pleasing than Nintendo/Sony's box art...
"Wow, didn't even see it amongst all the green, at first."
EXACTLY! From a marketing standpoint I'm sure that's why Microsoft went with bright green packaging again. When consumers walk into retail locations, the first thing that will catch their eye is BRIGHT GREEN packaging. Don't get me wrong now, the blue color pallete for PS4 is Sexy! and Sleek!, it's just the thing that the eye will notice first is a LOUD Green color, before a soft blue col...
And Tomb Raider on my PC craps all over the X360/PS3 version and would crap all over the XB1/PS4 version when it happens. Your point? Really you guys are disgusting for worshipping a company who could care less about you lol..
Hahaha N4G is a Sony site. How are you all saying Microsofts jab at Sony is terrible, but Sony has been taking Jabs since E3? Then you guys are talking about PR Blunders as if Microsoft gives a damn lol. They're still going to sell millions of consoles regardless if you're a Sony/Microsoft fanboy.
Like you guys are arguing over Taco Bell, Mountain Dew, Doritos lololol. This is a gaming site, who gives a damn about which franchise Microsoft or Sony decided to Sponsor...
What's wrong with TV? I remember a certain interactive tv program that was very successful on XBOX LIVE, and was met with positive reviews and a ton of gamer support called 1 vs 100..

Looks like Microsoft needs to do a FIFA 15 WORLD CUP XB1 Bundle for the Brazilian Market lmao! Brilliant way to capitalize on their partnership with EA....
