cod 4 on 360 did not outsell halo 3. halo 3 did 11.5 million +. I know they dont say how much the 360 version did but activision said 2 years later it was at 13 million. so cod 4 is probably at 15 millionish on 3 platforms. which is probably 7-9 million for 360 version, And world at war sold even less. so no not since MW2

i wouldnt get any hopes up for halo 5 being launch title. halo 4 was in development for at least 3 years, possibly 4 years. so the earliest halo 5 could come out is 2014 but even thats doubtful considering all main halo games have taken 3 years to develop and frank o conner said they would do them 3 years apart
this is acording to vgc who i follow but there pre order chartz are the least acurate. they have a user who works for gamestop corporate who confirmed that halo4 passed 1 million pre orders at gamestop alone weeks ago.
I bet seeing as this is halo 4 and looks to take the series up a notch or 2 that this game will sell 5 million world wide first week, halo 3 did 4 and reach did 3.8 i think.

omg ive never heard so much crap. me3 was a 45 hour game, and all this shit about how this shouldnt be dlc. i didnt hear that about me1 which was a 30 hour game or me2 a 45 hour game.
Furthermore me3 was an amazing game, hense the 93 it has on meta and the millions of copies sold. just because the vocal minority dislikes it doesnt make it a bad game. shame on you for make 2 visionaries retire.
for me it was halo 3 with the legendary ending,portal 2, than mass effect 2 (havent played 3 but i can guess what happens, kinda obvious).

i was interested and agreeing untill i read halo skimps on singleplayer. ^#$@ you. theres so much time and love put into every single halo title. the guys making it are truly passionate about there game. its music and atmosphere are unrivaled. Even if you dont like its single player to put in in the same boat as cod is retarded. medal of honor, homefront, and battlefield sure all those games are focused on mp but halo, come on.

instead of complaining that me3 has day one dlc and its esentially a 70 dollar game, why dont you wait till the games been out for 2 weeks and pick it up new for $45.
get some facts, halo 4 was in development for 3+ years. halo 5 wont come out in 2013 or 2014. 343 has said it would be 3 years of development time for each game in the series.
