I'm struggling with the changes myself - playing both back to back.
The Dualshock feedback is better implemented in the first game.
They gave it an 8, but it sounds as if they didn't like it.
Play the first one anyway. It's better than it looks when you get deep into it.

MS owns the concept of cross game chat on a console, but not on a portable.
Personally, I don't want to chat while playing console or portable.
That is if you know the admin password.
