the price of the ps3 can come down even faster now that sony is about to make alot of profit off of bluray.
yea, your right that the price of STANDALONE blurays arent gonna be coming down but thats because they have no reason too.
the ps3 is still a game machine so sony can drop the price of the ps3 without even losing to much money.

sony really set themselves up good. if microsoft adopts bluray, I GURANTEE you there gonna have to put up some money for sony. and then if they made the add on by early 09, it would cost around 200 bucks or so and the ps3 would be around 300 by that time so the choice would definetely look brighter for the ps3.
also, cost would be able to come down ever faster for the ps3 since its a bluray player and game development will be...
