halo3 has the typical, alien taking over the planet.
mgs sure as hell doesnt have a typical story
halo has typical fps gameplay
mgs4 doesnt have typical gameplay of another stealth series
graphics i dont really care for but mgs4's graphics are next gen
halo3's graphics are halo 2 in hd.

but mgs series started stealth games and others followed in its footsteps.
mgs4 does things alot of stealth games dont.
halo 3 doesnt do alot of other things alot of other fps's dont.

just because i like mgs doesnt mean i like grandturismo or god of war 3.
each game will apply to different people which means it will sell systems to those different people.

ok plenty of people said halo3 would only sale to the people who already had 360's, well those people were wrong.
what mgs4 will do is get people that were iffy about getting a ps3 to go out and ps3, not just for mgs4 but for everything else AND mgs4 pushing them.
i know quite of few people that never played mgs's before and there getting mgs4. i read comments all the time about people waiting for mgs just to get a ps3.
